Let's hear everyone's prediction. I see a similar game as the WS and Reidsville game. A lot of scoring and not enough defense. If Monroe can handle the big nasties, they will have a chance. Otherwise King Cats move on!

Congrats to the King Kats on getting us both times this season. We definitely over achieved in my opinion. 9 wins and the conference championship is pretty good for the supposed lack of talent from Pilot. Hopefully Lowman will hang around when the talent pool gets shallow in King. Graduation is the greatest equalizer in high school football.
Monroe is a tall task every year.

East Surry had a good year and put some good athletes on the field. Coaching staff did a good job.
I'll be pulling for West Stokes Friday night because I never pull for Monroe but I'll have to take Monroe by 17 in this one. Hopefully I'm wrong. Like I always say ....I'll pull for every team in Union County just not Monroe. Go Wildcats!!!

Is the runningback that was running through reidsville back? He seems to have gotten hurt late in that game if i recall?

Yes scored 3 TD in first half. First play of the game took it 75 yards for TD. I think Monroe is better than Reidsville this year but West playing Randleman, Walkertown, Reidsville and the Surry teams will help prepare them some
Not sure if their best team ever but they're definitely better than the last couple of years which is saying alot because those teams were loaded but fell short. I think the FH game with them would have been closer if we weren't rotating QBs at the time. You've got to contain their QB Keegan Chambers and athlete WR/Safety Jordan Young. Even if you can do that they still have more athletes that are hard to stop like RB Zion Lindsey. They're basically a track team playing football. Hope you've got some speed.
I think he dislocated his elbow. I think they dipped him in soapy water when we played them. He is slippery. I think he yelled out when he went down. One of his team mates was waving for assistance immediately. His waving was seen before the referees play ending whistle sound got to us in the stands. Kind of like seeing the smoke before the sound of a starters pistol in track and field. I am telling my age now.
I wouldnt say this would be similar to Reidsville vs WS because I doubt seriously Monroe is dumb enough go with a 3 man front.
His highlights against North Forsyth and East Surry since coming back he's definitely fun to watch
Congrats to all the teams thats still playing.. Playing in the 3rd round is big. Monroe will come to play this week with there A game. Coach Sowell is one of the best coaches in the state and he will have the guys prepared. Its any given Friday but those kids are locked and loaded... Get your popcorn ready.
your such a hater and why? Monroe fans pull for everybody in Union County until they have to face each other. I know why though, Its simply because Monroe has owned Forest Hill for the last 15 years and you can't except it. Just face it man ... Good luck to you guys on Friday night...lol

That would be the easiest game for Monroe. Surprised FH is still in the playoffs. They are not good at all.

It’s sad how much he hates on Monroe. He made a whole post congratulating TJ Davis for committing. But when Jordan Young committed he didn’t say anything nor post about it.
I don't think any Burns fan said that. We knew whay type of team we had this year and we didn't like our chances. Other posters said it for sure. And when it came out that our starting QB was out, that basically meant no passing game. And Monroe was able to stack the box. So it really didnt' matter how physical we were. Having said that, Monroe still would have beaten us soundly with our QB. They are very good, and you will have to play a perfect game to get the W.

LOL. They beat the dog **** out of us. They were faster, stronger, and overwhelmingly better than us. This may be the best team they've had over the past several years. And that's saying something.
Yes Monroe is alot like Reidsville, they get these mental lapses smack dab in the middle of the game.
That' said West Stokes coach always game plans well against Monroe. It may not be so much a blow out but maybe a 27-14(if Monroe starts messing up their lead) game in Redhawks favor.
Wow, Monroe posters posting more than one post. I'm not even a Monroe guy but I was the ONLY one "posting for them" the past 2 seasons.
Monroe fans don't have to post.. Honestly I'm on this site every year reading the post and enjoying them. I just joined to shut the Forest Hill Haters mouth. Nobody really knows anything about Monroe but what they hear and read. Monroe shoots them selves in the foot every year while making a deep run. This year I don't think that will happen. Monroe's water boy runs a 4.3. They got speed everywhere. They were very physical up front and the QB has moves like Michael Vick. People keep mentioning Reidsville. Monroe would have beat the piss out of them. They are a very dangerous team and outside of being a Burns guy they were fun to watch. The key is penalties. If Monroe commits too many penalties that could kill momentum. They had a ton against us but still beat us bad.
They look really good and will take turnovers, ball control and penalties to beat them
I’m a FH guy, UC guy second. I root for Monroe except when we play. That being said, FH is pretty good. Since they’ve stopped the QB by committee, Dilworth and the offense have taken major steps forward. If we do, in fact, meet in the Western Finals (which is two games away, anything can happen), it won’t be the same game as earlier in the season.
I agree with Forest Hills playing better off of what I’ve been reading but Monroe played forest Hills with 2 key starters out and they turned the ball over 5 times.. The worst game they played all year.. Still hung 35 points on you guys, yall scored 9 on the third string ..Monroe has much improved as well.. That’s 2 games away, Monroe kids are focused on a good West Stokes team right now.. I think Salisbury should be on your mind right now..
Definitely focused on Salisbury. Was just answering your assessment on FH. FH was also down some key players that game and didn’t capitalize on any of those 5 turnovers. Best of luck to you guys vs. West Stokes.
West had couple defensive players banged up last few weeks. Hopefully they all play tonight they will be needed
