Things are being leaked and also said indirectly in public that the Big 12 has a contingency plan if these other conferences don't play

Mainly the B1G and PAC 12

There is a chance that if this moves forward and the ACC plays conference +1 and the SEC/Big 12 plays OOC WVU has two opponents to fill these spots.

The Big Ten on Thursday announced it will go to a conference-only season for all fall sports, including football, amid "unprecedented times" during the coronavirus pandemic.

SEC league officials and athletic directors are scheduled to meet early next week but have no plans to make any decisions on the fall schedule, sources confirmed to ESPN. SI.com was first to report the meeting.

2020 college football schedules: Where the SEC, ACC, Big 12 and Pac-12 stand on conference-only slates

he Big Ten's decision could start a domino effect throughout the rest of the Power Five conferences

SEC is a bad position...

They need the $$$$$.

Plus this could give them a free month at least to recruit.

We will see.

Why wouldn't they play...

Some of these schools have over 50% of their rosters already exposed to CV.
I don't know the # at WV but a lot of these schools have been hit the last few weeks.

So if they play. .The threat isn't there if your players already have had CV.

Like I said. Back in April and May some of the conferences planned to play without the B1G and PAC 12.

The West Virginia women's basketball program six players tested positive for the coronavirus, the school said Thursday.

ACC should announce soon.

As of right now supposedly they are in discussion with ND and about playing conference +1.
ND wants to maintain the USC game.

If this happens you have 10 SEC teams and 10 Big 12 teams
The 4 ACC schools play the 4 SEC schools

3 Big 12 schools have games scheduled
Texas/LSU
Oklahoma/Tennessee
Baylor/Ole Miss

TCU most likely will play Alabama

So that leaves
Vanderbilt
Miss State
Arkansas
Texas A&M
Auburn
Missouri

Two points.

One... you seriously believe SEC is ever in a bad position. You can't be that thick doofus.

Two...your constant Google cut and paste makes you look so desperate.

SEC more than any conference relies on TV money.
They need a full schedule. Difference between the SEC and B1G is the number of schools that throw money into their athletic programs.

When I told you that a high level TV executive claimed that the B1G was most likely not going to play on time.

This was in April/May

On the otherhand told you that the SEC/Big 12 were.

Because they already had a plan in place if the B1G decided not to play.

These are huge universities. They don't leave **** to chance...

The ACC +1 will be, and the ACC is praying it is, vs ND and the ones that don't get that extra game will play another conference team not on it's schedule. ACC doesn't play Round robin schedule.
