Do you really? Any reason you believe that? I think it should have been an absolute priority but wanting one and actually landing them is not remotely the sameI find it hard to believe he was not able to find QB to transfer here last year that would have made us better
"QBs mean everything in college" ... and we have no quarterback.
In other words, we have nothing.
Yes, really. Because: the number of schools that have had qb's riding the bench that end up playing due to injury that play better than Doege, the number of inferior programs with better QB play, the ease of transferring these days, without researching it there is at least 1 school (equal to WVU at best but mediocre IMO) I know of has been able to recruit transfers that had better pedigree and/or better historical performance than Doege, and Browns success at recruiting freshmen. Obviously, Brown isn't going to shoot himself in the foot. I'm sure he would have welcomed an all American transfer. But I think he over-estimated the expected growth in Doege. WVU as well as many inferior programs this year and historically have had better QB play. We have a Bowling Green starter and a Troy backup. Edit: Don't hesitate to enlighten me.I find it hard to believe he was not able to find QB to transfer here last year that would have made us better
