How many matches will Iowa win Friday night?

I’d set the line at 2.5. I want to say 2 but I think Carver magic might get Iowa to 3 wins. I think two wins is more likely than three though.

125- Peterson has beaten Luke before but PSU advantage.
133- I want to say it’s a coin flip but Blaze hasn’t lost and Drake has looked sluggish. PSU advantage.
141- I don’t know who wrestles for either school. But favoring Iowa here, can’t do it. PSU advantage.
149- Great test for Ryder but Van Ness is at the top for a reason. PSU advantage
157- Williams seems like he might like the bright lights. I’d call for a win for Iowa here but Duke looks good. PSU advantage.
165- Mikey will probably wrestle Mesenbrink three times. If Mikey beats him, I sure hope it’s in March. PSU advantage.
174 - Love PK but can’t take him over Haines. PSU advantage.
184 - Until Angelo loses, I’m taking him over everyone. But Welsh is good. Advantage Iowa.
197- Whomever wrestles, advantge Penn State but I hope Dean is going. PSU advantage.

Davis is definitely the man at 141 for PSU going forward. They burned his shirt last night in a shut out against Rutgers, which they definitely would not do unless he’s the starter now. It’s a clear sign that Nagao is out for the season again.

Love Caliendo, just don't see him beating the best guy in College Wrestling, but never say never I guess. Is PSU Forfeiting at 141? That's the only way I see Iowa winning, and Davis isn't anyone to be feared by any stretch of the imagination. Can't picture Bailey running any stairs, but if he does and somehow falls and hits his head, maybe it will jar something loose and he'll remember he used to be a pretty good DI Wrestler. If Endene goes he's got a puncher's chance too, mostly cause he's a brute.

This Iowa Team doesn't seem to have the overall vibe to create a bunch of big Carver moments at this time, so they're likely to get boatraced. Just act like you give a damn up and down the lineup, I'd settle for that at this time I guess....

I get that. I was at the Big Ten's two years ago and the kid looked huge for 125 if that makes sense. He was ripped and looked rather rather strong. and honestly she's not the shortest guy. He's probably rather strong at 141 and I doubt he has to suck too much weight now.

If I had a guess who wins and loses what matches I'd say I was most likely to win it 184 then 285 then 125 and after that possibly 165. I just think Mesenbrink is too tough for anyone right now. Hand is solid bar is very solid and Shane Van Ness and PJ Duke are pretty formable looking right now.

I don’t think Drake or Mikey win, but they certainly have a shot. I think their best chance of the 3 is 125. Luke didn’t look that great against Rutgers (or some of his other matches this season).

I think Iowa should pool all their NIL money and buy off the PSU wrestling team to throw this dual and let Iowa win.

I think the real question is how many of our guys would get their as*es kicked by the PSU guys in a street fight. Whoever loses is off the team and gets replaced by the Penn State wrestlers that beat the crap out of them.

You could be right. I thought Block looked great and was in control against Wisky until he faded in the 3rd. I also think it was from coming off illness and it doesn't happen again. SVN and PSU as a whole will test all our guys tanks and their tanks haven't been great so far.

I'm hoping WI was a low point for a few guys and they rebound in a big way this week. I was also hoping Kathy Ireland would have choose to be my girlfriend in the mid 80s...but that didn't happen either.
