I was driving my oldest daughter and a few friends to a state tournament basketball game a several years ago when a lady of larger proportions walked in front of the car in yoga pants. They all stopped talking and stared at her as she walked by. I said, “Just because they sell them it doesn’t mean that you have to buy them.” They kept cracking up.
I saw one of the girls in the store a couple weeks ago and she said that line to me and said she uses it all the time now. I’m glad I’ve left a legacy of wisecracks.
So why do you wear them?

In order for something to be considered "the best" it has to be of benefit to all of mankind. No one can argue against (a) wheel or (b) transistor.

Yoga pants are a stretch. They are of benefit to a select group.

Not arguing with you about this. I have two young nephews with very fine BA degrees that are doing them absolutely no benefit right now, and likely never will. (One of the degrees is in physics.) It seems as if “follow your dream” is the worst advice nowadays.
BA in physics? Why?

I googled it . Actually quite a few places offer a BA in physics degree including UNC . 🤷‍♂️
I phrased my post in a way that invited pushback. My nephew hasn’t found a job in physics, but not necessarily because of a lack of positions that require a physics degree. The real issue is likely that he doesn’t want to spend 60 hours a week in front of his computer. Bad example on my part, whatever. But no doubt it’s harder than it was back in the day, whatever your qualifications. I went to the UMd Physics Department page to look up the BA/BS issue (got no closure there), and right there on the first page is a long list of campus mental health resources.

Islam

It's based on lies and contradictions. The only reason people follow it is because of the power that is gained by overtaking, subduing and eradicating non-believers. People who follow Islam don't want to co-exist with you, they want to dominate you. The West needs to stop seeing Islam through their Judeo-Christian lenses and see it for what it really is before it's too late.

The internet/social media.

Prior to that we just suspected everyone was an idiot.
Now, we have irrefutable proof of their idiocy.
I think it was Winston Churchill who said (I think I got it right) "better to be thought of as a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt"
