There was a business called the “Venetian Blind Hospital “ near my small PA town . They cleaned and repaired Venetian blinds . I was dating a gal who was pretty smart and is now. VP of a large medical publishing company . One day we drive by the sign.. She has a brain fart , and asked me How many blind Venetians can there be around here ?

Best thing? Airport lounges. Slightly TIC. But, it’s a world of difference from regular airport accommodations. I only benefit because my wife is a globetrotter and even if not on business class tix we can still use the lounge (as I am now in Germany). Outstanding Bavarian food buffet, open bar, showers, etc.
