Not if you're smart ... I'm likely alive today due to wearing a helmet while biking. Can't say for sure I'd have been killed if I wasn't wearing it, but certainly can't say that I would have survived without it.

I can't believe I survived my childhood without wearing a helmet. I remember sleigh riding and crashing headon into a transformer. Got dazed pretty good.

No I remember the right wing dig for no reason. It made no sense then and it doesn't in this thread. I just googled it and could find no images other than normal man blue jeans, not seeing it.

Oh, me too. We did all kinds of crazy stuff and nobody was wearing a helmet. As an adult I don't get on the bike without one.

That is the infamous day. We've got a nation of men wearing mom jeans then. There's a lot to pick on BO about but that wouldn't be one of them imo. If you want to pick on him about the pics, the jeans have been ironed, probably dry cleaned. I guess people are shocked to see a black man whose pants aren't falling off his @ss.

For me, it wasn't the jeans. It was the weakass girl toss that he made. I would have thought he was more coordinated than that. Contrast his toss with Bush's that night in NY city. Bush came with some heat, with a bullet proof vest on,too. I can't tell but I would assume that Obama has one on too.

I never said he was an athlete, did I? I said his pitch that night was much better than the girl toss of Obama, not that there's anything wrong with throwing like a girl, esp if it's that Monet girl! How many millions were watching that night? How many saw Obama's? I would have crapped my pants out there in front of that audience.
