He likely will get drafted somewhere in rds 5-7. He has potential to be a nice explosive playmaker in the NFL but certainly not an every down back.

Now, can he improve his draft stock? As a runner he has nothing left to improve. He could improve his route running, catching, and blocking but can he improve it enough to improve his draft stock? His stock could improve but it's not likely to do so enough to warrant staying. So, his draft status likely tells him to go.

This RB draft class is very deep. But given that Boom is likely a complimentary back in the NFL it negates the class depth to an extent.

He also likely will take a backseat to Snell next yr (if he hasn't already). This suggests leaving.

So, outside of personal gratification and sacrifice for the team he really doesn't have reason to stay.

He won't get drafted.
This isn't the NBA Draft. There are 7 rounds and over 250 picks. Boom would ABSOLUTELY get drafted. Late rounder likely but still. There are very few reasons to come back if you're Boom. Another year of getting pounded in the SEC, Snell's emergence, and the way running backs fall in and out of favor with Stoops, it wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if he left. I'll probably be more surprised if he comes back.

I'd say odds are high he leaves. I'm not basing that on anything, just seems logical. He's had a good year, he's been healthy for Boom and how much better or higher is he going to get? Plus, there have been some maturity issues if we're being honest. Just doesn't seem like a kid who really yurns to play college football.

i dont dissagree with everything you said but one thing,i dont think Snell's emergence is a negative for Boom. I think it'sa strong positive! As we all know,Boom is not a 25 carry a game guy,Benny removes the need/temptation for our coaches to overuse him.

I disagree.
I think he can improve his position and get drafted after next season.
At this time, I don't think he makes an NFL roster.

Outside of Gronk, how many guys much less RB's, play in the NFL with a bionic elbow brace like Boom. I really like him as a college back but question his NFL level toughness and durability. His ceiling as I see it is practice squad. This year or next.
