Harry Nilsson. Several of his songs wound up in soundtracks in very good movies.

I remember this silliness from when I was a young'un. Apparently, so did Quinten Tarantino, 'cause this one wound up in the soundtrack to Reservoir Dogs.
And this one is featured in the single greatest movie ever made, Goodfellas.

Revisiting one of my favorite classic rock albums, Thin Lizzy’s “Jailbreak”.

A great roadtrip song. When cranked up loud it’s impossible to not sing along.
When you absolutely, positively must play air guitar, this is one to crank.
Or even this one…
And am I the only one that finds it shameful that Thin Lizzy is not in the RnR HOF?

My very first concert was Jethro Tull at Cincinnati's Riverfront Coliseum, 1975. They were great. And they definitely deserve to be in the HOF.
Quoting my own post to add an interesting factoid about Harry Nilsson. Something I just learned today.
Death In Mayfair: The “Cursed” Flat Of Curzon Square
Nilsson owned an apartment in London. When he was away he would allow some fellow musicians that he knew use the apartment. In 1974 he let The Mamas and the Papas singer, "Mama" Cass Elliot, use the apartment. She was found dead from a heart attack in that apartment at the age of 32. In 1978 he let The Who drummer, Keith Moon, use the apartment. He was found dead in the same bed, from an overdose. He too was 32 years old when he passed.
