Watching a dvd of the Moody Blues live at the Greek Theater in LA. I think it’s from 2001 or somewhere in that frame. Great concert.
I think it's cute, quaint when various bands, and their fans take pride in being hardcore, the punkiest, most intense, and then someone dials up The Jesus Lizard and puts that nonsense to bed, LOL
They used to beat their concert audiences into submission. I don't have the words to properly describe what seeing them live back then was like, but terrifying is as close as I can get. LOL

Gradually going deaf in one of the my ears, so I’ve really pulled back on any unnecessary noise because of how it impacts me. Spinning this new one has been nice, though:
This is worth watching just for all the white people trying to figure out how to tap their foot to all the weird time signatures around the 3 min. mark [laughing]
I've been reading the Rex Stewart book of essays about early jazz, and the first chapter was about the Jean Goldkette group and how good they were. Stewart was a Duke Ellington trumpet player for around 30 years, and his stories have lots of amazing details from the era. Such as one of jazz musicians drink of choice was a mix of port wine and gin. Sometimes the drink would be finished off with a little ether. Shades of Hunter Thompson. Anyway, the clip bellow is by the Goldkette Orchestra with Bix Beiderbecke.
A little aside: Stewart knew Ellington from their Washington DC days where he'd known him as Eddie.
