My morning jacket just released a new album of songs written during the last albums creation. Definitely not a bunch of B-sides like some thought. Awesome album and perfectly placed separately. MMJ back in the conversation with album of the year in my opinion.

I was introduced to Billie Elish with this performance on SNL: She has some creative people working with her.

I just dont get her appeal. Whisper music. What exactly is she offering here? From what I've read, her brother seems to carry most of the load, writing AND producing. I always thought Lorde and Macklemore were, more or less, one hit wonders.. at least in the sense that these grammy winners could never follow up their early success. Billie Elish will be the same.

*Wacklemore has sort of surprised me with a bit of a resurgence. But still think he's struggled mightly since.

OT: the guy running in on at the ~1 min mark looks like he is doing a Pete Davidson move. He runs in and is told to get out. I can almost hear him say in his Chad SNL character voice: ahh okay
