In the midst of a 2 week long deep dive into Gov’t Mule. And loving every minute of it. Warren Haynes is such an incredibly talented singer/song writer/guitarist.
He put on a great performance at Bourbon & Beyond Festival a few days ago.
Kanye West is certifiably crazy. Like legitimately sick in the head. Don't waste your time with him unless it's just listening to his music. And if you don't like hip hop, don't waste your time at all.
I'd argue that saying "I don't like compliments..." was probably some low-key swagger if we had context for the quote. Hendrix knew he was one of the best; I'd say this quote exemplifies his charisma more so than humility.

Still on a deep dive into Gov’t Mule. Endlessly amazed at the quality musicianship and unique chords and melodies. Damn, I love this band.
