This whole album [winking]. One gd song at 2:04 trying to ruin this on a technicality. I'm counting it!!

2:08 -- Again, I'm counting it!

2:02 -- wtf? Dammit.

2:05 -- You win. I have successfully failed the challenge

Not a challenge, at all, no winners or losers, just FUN to share songs we think are really good that clock in below 2:00 running time …

I'm actually not a big Black Flag fan. I'm going because I kind of feel "obligated" to see them, even though, at this point they're more of a cover band. A cover band, doing covers of not really all that great punk rock songs. LOL

For me, punk shows don't miss just for the people watching alone. Lots of look-at-me types, and I'm happy to oblige. Had no idea BF was still touring. Be interested in the recap, but I think your last sentence preemptively summed it up lol.

The whole album is worth a listen. Super grimy, dark beats and the mix pretty much blends the vocals on the same levels as everything else, so it all just like blends together in this eery atmosphere. It feels more like a jazz album than hip hop tbh.

Dug out an old Blood, Sweat and Tears album from the 70s. Almost unplayable with the pops and cracks. Gotta upgrade because the band could flat out play.

I might have to drive up for this one! Black Classical Music was my favorite jazz offering from last year. Just a beautiful album start to finish.

I thought it amazing that they were going to be at such a small venue. Spyro Gyra and Stanley Clarke will be there, also, fyi.

Also, you liked my post from a while back about HIGH FADE, from Scotland. They are coming back through … will be at Madison Live in Covington on 04/12/24.
