The new Slash album is ridiculously good if you like blues-based rock. The guests absolutely kill it. Chris Robinson, Gary Clark Jr., Chris Stapleton, Billy Gibbons, Paul Rodgers, Brian Johnson. I picked it up on a whim because I liked so many of these guys, and it rocks.

It is hard to believe (comparing the early stuff to what came after) that it's the same band.

Believe me, I get it (the need to finally cash in and make some serious money), and I doubt any of us could resist the temptation. So, rather than trash them (and the many other bands that went "that way") I just prefer to appreciate what they "were"...
