Over in India they cremate in the rivers
That'd be a hoot if we did that
Maybe purify the Ohio River a bit....

Or, maybe start a composting thing....save the Earth and such

If it's somebody you hate, can you cremate them a a little bit at a time? Or add a few rat asses to the fire? How about marshmallows?

I don't care one way or the other. Mourning rituals are the province of the survivors. Feed my body to the buzzards. Prop it up like Jeremy Bentham (pic below). It's all just clay.

IMO the only reason for conventional burial is to give future archaeologists something to dig up. Once a person is dead they are gone. That hunk of dead meat is not your mom, pop, sis, bro, etc. Spending a bunch of bucks on preserving a dead body is wasteful.. I have it in my will to be cremated.

I want to be cremated , but my wife doesn't want me to do that. This has been an ongoing disagreement. I have often thought it should be what I want, but then I think she is the one who's going to be in pain should I go first.

Want to make sure someone you trust sees that you are turned to ash.

My uncle suppose to been cremated at a Georgia crematory. This place just threw the bodies out into a field to decompose.

Why hasn't anybody brought up the "Sailor's Burial" ? I want my wife to throw me in the back of a pick up truck and get a couple of cinder block bricks and chains and then take me to the Gulf of Mexico. Rent out a small boat then go in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico tie me down and throw me overboard.

I kind of like the idea of recycling- the fishes eat me and then fishermen capture the fishes and then you guys eat the fishes. If everybody did that it would reduce cemetary waste and cremation waste and the recycling chain keeps going.

The only cost is cider blocks, chain, gasoline for the trip and boat rental, probably less than $1,000.

Other idea is to take same pick up truck and hitch me behind and drive around New Circle Road until I am all gone. That would cost even less and the vultures and birds can recycle.

Got to be creative.
