"the pic next to her doesnt prove anything, other than a fan of Mega, but who isnt?
The text messages cant be confirmed. The person saying they are confirmed is the author, but not showing them.
Someone got wired some money? An ex-girlfriend? who knows, doesnt prove prostiution.
Being an acquaintance doesn't prove this again.

I get you all would love for this to be true, but you have circumstantial evidence at best. Too much dot connecting. Keep reaching though."

...and you call yourself 'Rationalcard'...... GMAFB.

Your sob story will be entertaining....the question is when the hammer drops, will you even come here to say a word.

Looks like the "right people" must have heard about the lack of investigation by ULMP and LMPD.

The simple answer is that the University is controlled by Tommy turtleneck and doesn't move unless instructed to do so. The outside pressure is now becoming too much to contain, so they have to keep appearances up.

Thinking about this some more......what if she simply refuses to cooperate with the NCAA?

As we know, as far as compelling people to cooperate, they are feckless. No subpoena power, all that. If she won't cooperate, all they have is uofl denying it. In that scenario, all the texts, photographs, and 3rd party verification in the world won't matter. Why would she write a whole book and then not tell the NCAA anything? Well, I presume she has to live here. You know she has or will get death threats. She already has a prosecutor threatening child prostitution charges.....

As I continue to say, in the end I think they skate.......

The NCAA is not a legal court of law, and the threshold of evidence that is required for a assumption of guilt is much much less. That being said, I see no reason verified phone/texting records wouldn't be anything other than admissible in a court of law. You're grasping at straws Uof L is in trouble anyway you look at it. Accept it.

While it is literally impossible to predict what the NCAA will do, I can't imagine they don't severely punish UL for this -- again, as long as they can independently confirm the texts and payment.

If there were underage recruits involved in this, and it seems highly likely there were, then I think a one year death penalty is not completely outside the realm of possibility. No way can the organization responsible for the well being of their student athletes allow a literal crime against them to go unpunished. They would be forced to come down hard IMO.

Pitino was just on the radio and said that only Andre McGee knows if this scandal happened or not and he is not talking. Sounds like McGee is being sacrificed to try to save the program from penalties.

What a bunch of crap. The former players know if they had sex with the whores or not. If you showed me a picture of a girl, I could tell you if I had sex with her or not.
oh, ****...the "not talking stance", it worked for the Dukie because he was not in college or coaching. I don't think that will fly here, my friend

I have asked the same question...UL pays her a huuuge amount...she decides not to cooperate with the NCAA. I guess then it could become a criminal case and everyone would have to wait and see if the NCAA would make a ruling off of those findings

This thread is getting 25000 views a day. I wonder if we've ever had a thread hit a million views. This UL scandal isn't going to die down anytime soon. This will be here for a while.

Hell, I've probably got a thousand views into it myself. I'm working on a four day schadenfreude hardon and am not worried about getting medical help. I've got a bungee cord holding it off to the side so it doesn't block the screen.

Good Lord that was funny. Just please, for the love of God, please make sure you're using a good bungee cord.

Listening to Valvano again. Doing yard work - actually putting in a basketball goal that calls for a 36 inch deep hole, and I've got a ton of rock to dig thru. What I thought was an hour job is on its second evening..... Anyway, Valvano just said he doesn't think there's any chance of the ncaa stripping Louisville of its title or final 4. Why? There's no smoking gun. Mind you, he's not saying it's not true. Assuming it is true, he just doesn't think it rises to that kind of level.

"No smoking gun."

What took them so long to initiate an investigation? The book and all the potential admissions of prostitution etc... broke on Friday. At the same time, in the press conference, Jurich/Pitino admitted to finding out about the situation back in late August. Why? We should be asking, if UL Athletics did not notify ULPD...WHY?
You can't be serious. I think everyone knows the answer.

Times have really changed , UL and UNC both only care about avoiding NCAA penalties . Both of those sports programs are rogue and operating as if there is no school at all . They need to be penalized heavily to end their cheating and send a warning to other schools that it will not be tolerated .

The ONLY people that listen to ul-centric radio, are ul fans. If they lose hope and quit listening, there is no need for the show. He has to keep hope alive.

edit: in light of what you said, this was an erroneous statement on my part. I'm gonna leave it though.

Power is a funny thing. You can be with it and have no problems, but watch out if you do not have it. I assume this woman does not have much, even though she might have experiences that could trash an entire ball program....She's got to prove it, to a jury no less...am I right?

Who would of ever thought that U of L would have accusations like this... Not me. I live in my tiny world...and I like to think that good prevails.

I am not surprised by the allegations. I'm surprised that someone told. Cars for Cards has been a program for years there. Way too many drug offenses to not think it is organized. I use "organized" in that there is a blind eye turned to it, not organized to the point of concealment.

We heard rumors of Ware and Bananhand slinging the drugs on campus. We saw Ward get caught late at night in a "borrowed" late model car on his way to Bowling Green for a "concert". So much smoke from that cesspool and now finally a fire. An inferno.

If you are surprised by anything out of those miscreants, it should be if they are ever proven to have told the truth.

Yeah, noted. I'm only listening out of curiosity as to what's coming out of Pravda. Still, hard to believe he's looking at this and sees no gun. I think they'll get off eventually because of institutional ineptness, collusion, corruption and varying combinations thereof. He's saying, meh, embarrassing, but no real trouble....

Is that city being ran by the Penguin? Should we just call Louisville "Gotham without a batman"? This scandal is only embarrassing ? How corrupt is that city that people can survive these types of scandal's that would get politicians fired.

I was just reading the updated courier journal article about the criminal aspects of this for her and McGee. If a shred of evidence is found, the authorities are gonna hammer her and McGee. It won't matter if she tries to recant. If this is true, I think Dantes 9 circles of hell are coming to UL and they find themselves pretty far down the hole. The more I think about it the more I have to wonder if she is lying. For one, it said she supplied girls for 22 parties. That's like 450 per party, that doesn't even make sense to me. Surely she isn't stupid enough to expose herself to the jail times they are mentioning. Perhaps this is an elaborate extortion scheme and a good one at that. Lay it out there with enough circumstantial evidence to make it look convincing, then happily take a huge payoff to recant, knowing you can't be prosecuted because it never happened. But if this is true, I can see McGee getting squeezed with an offer of going light on him, to get her. He can always keep quiet, but it's like playing Russian roulette. Either way, this is going to get really interesting.

Reading through some of the Louisville propaganda wings, I just smdh......

If I were a women in their path I'd watch out. Lots of nasty and violent words being spoken about some of these women. They might want to look into some protection or at least practice their second amendment ri

Reading what the County Attorney said over the weekend (they will absolutely prosecute bringing her minor daughter into this mess), the truth will come out under oath whether UL likes it or not. I thought mom's comment about people criticizing her bringing her under age daughters into it "they can kiss my ***". County attorney will love pursuing this one....
