I think once upon a time I said "5 pages minimum" or something to that effect.
What a dumbass.
I'd rather leave it so everyone understands the differences a organization can make in a man. UK made Pitino, Louisville destroyed him.

Beulah in the principal's office demanding a penis line-up, while her and the gym coaches are cracking up laughing at her is one of the funniest scenes ever put on film. Matter of fact, I might just have to watch me some Porky's now.
Maybe put an * on his banner? Hypothetically speaking of course...
Your AD is a criminal who would hire Jared Subway to coach little boys soccer if it met the bottom line.
The basketball coach completely humiliated your institution, and then basically shows everyone how to own Louisville by somehow retaining his position. He lost all his integrity to coach young men in 2009, but if you're into second chances, he just screwed you there as well. Do you need to be smacked 3 times?
Your football coach is blackballed from some major conferences and is known as "the" scumbag of football coaching. The NFL absolutely hates the guy. Since you readily admit he's a scumbag we can just leave it there.
Just admit it. The AD @ louisville places your coaches above the institution, and he IS a business man, NOT a man that looks out for the reputation of Louisville. The country is seeing you for what you are now, and the ACC is collectively having a ****. Congratulations, you don't trust yet another SEX scandal regarding Louisville. The joke is completely on you.
Jurich's other hires from Baseball to woman's basketball all seem to be upstanding hires. Who wouldn't Jeff Walz or Dan McDonnell on their team? When he brought Pitino in he was just a coach looking to bounce back after a failed NBA stint. I wasn't wild about it at the time but it wasn't bc I thought he wa a slime ball. I just hated the prick of a coach that was his UK persona. I think Tom does a great job of making these coaches think they are on top but Tom pulls the strings. If not, then shame on him but I don't think that's happening at UL
So the idea is before turning to the publisher in Indiana to tell her story, she first went to someone at uofl with a threat to go public? I doubt she's sophisticated enough to do that well and cover her tracks. Should be fairly quick and easy to prove. So, I just got back from meeting my friend who happens to be a lil brothel fan and works as a clerk at the court house, apparently he was tasked with pulling her file today, both criminal and child support. He then goes on to tell me she is being investigated for extortion.
Please take this with a grain of salt as I'm passing off what I was told.
I think what they're saying is the LLC in question was formed on 8/31 which purportedly is the same day uofl found out about the allegations and forthcoming book. That coincidence apparently indicates something sinister. The reason you set up an LLC is right there in the name - Limited Liability Company. In case of a lawsuit, the publisher is afforded some legal protection.
This is rich. You've got a pimpin fairy tale land you're livin in there.........Cardzcoach......
Ya know you're not wild about Petrino.... butttttttttt.......
Not wild about Pitino buttttttt........
AD got it covered hopefully...........
why the hell are you even here?
You nailed it buddy , it went over 5 . Nothing wrong with being right .I think once upon a time I said "5 pages minimum" or something to that effect.
What a dumbass.
I have wondered if the Penn State situation might actually inure to Louisville's benefit. The nation largely cheered when the NCAA hammered Penn St. Later, there was blowback, the thinking was Penn State was in hindsight just another case of overreaching by the NCAA. In a fairly short period of time, the NCAA went from reviled but still powerful to reviled and largely defanged. And I think that Penn State figures into that transition heavily. And I wonder if that organization might shy away from future cases that aren't entirely confined to the rule book.Penn State did A LOT wrong, but when they fully realized what had happened, they took steps to completely clean house. That was barely enough to save them from the death penalty.
Sure, Pitino slept with one psycho but that hardly qualifies as a history of sex scandals. Petrino had problems at Arkansas not Louisville. Again, I don't see how that's UL's problem. Just because of an extra marital affair doesn't mean we're going to bankroll hookers. Why the hell would we do that. I went to college, saw the girls hang around the athletes. You don't need hookers. Like I said, think she posed as just a fan/ potential gf to get in these parties to sleep with athletes. In her mind, this stuff happened but not the way she said. The only money she got from this is the book right now. Just remember the Duke rape investigation of the lacrosse team.
Good observations, Mojocat.I have wondered if the Penn State situation might actually inure to Louisville's benefit. The nation largely cheered when the NCAA hammered Penn St. Later, there was blowback, the thinking was Penn State was in hindsight just another case of overreaching by the NCAA. And I wonder if that organization might shy away from future cases that aren't entirely confined to the rule book.
Well of course it's sinister lol. She literally says in the book that she, at one point, decided to take UofL to task. This whole thing is intentionally sinister. Duh. It being sinister doesn't remove credence, though.I think what they're saying is the LLC in question was formed on 8/31 which purportedly is the same day uofl found out about the allegations and forthcoming book. That coincidence apparently indicates something sinister.
Kevin Ware is such a POS even a harlot is ashamed to admit she ****ed him.I don't believe her either, no way Kevin Ware wasn't involved.
Some core of these allegations are true. Whether it was just strippers or full on prostitution, McGee most likely financially facilitated activities that violated NCAA bylaws. There is a reason UofL brass (Pitino, Jurich) haven't outright denied everything. There is a reason they knew about this since August but didn't say anything until Friday. There is a reason they are "working with the NCAA" to determine what happened. There is a reason a Pulitzer-winning investigative journalist attached his name to this thing. The real travesty will be UL getting off free as a jailbird. Everyone says today's social media spurns the opinion needle . I think most people these days believe what they see. If their is know video evidence it can't be true. Ray Rice is a good example. If all this comes out to be true I will be happier than a nun in a cucumber patch.
Stingray would be yapping it up in this thread if it were uk , he readin' .
I've already said that if this somehow is proven to be true, I will admit that I was wrong and I will view UofL athletics differently. As of now, they've done nothing wrong. We do things the right way and stay clear of trouble. If this turns out to be true, I won't see UofL as that clean program 1st type program that I do now. I also think at that point that Jurich and Pitino should lose their jobs. I also think HOwie and Ramsey should lose their jobs for proclaiming that this is not true when it would become obvious that they didn't know. To date, they've done nothing to make me think otherwise so I believe them. They are closer to the situation than any of us are so yes, I believe them. If it turns out they were wrong, they become untrustworthy and have no business covering UofL sports. Simple as that.
we knew that when they hired Petrino the second time.Put it this way if Pitino had the record he did from 2001 until 09 then add the sypher ordeal...we would have canned his a$$. If lville keeps him thru this too, whether he knew or not, that says this school absolutely cares about nothing.
Here is the thing Arnold, had this never happened, there is no way I would root for something like this to occur so that it would bring down Pitino and the Cards. You are right. These are real people, and this is a tragedy.
The point is, it already has happened. Since it has, I want to see them get hammered for it. If everything checks out, and I think it will, then I would rank this scandal as second only to Sandusky in the entire history of the NCAA.
Penn State did A LOT wrong, but when they fully realized what had happened, they took steps to completely clean house. That was barely enough to save them from the death penalty.
If UL takes the opposite approach and tries to pretend it never happened and everything is business as usual (as many of their fans are doing), they open themselves up to getting demolished by the NCAA. Given how they have behaved and are continuing to behave, I have to admit, that is something I would love to see.
Right now, their mode of response seems to have a lot more in common with North Carolina than with Penn St. I see your point, in that suspensions seem to be in order until this mess can be sorted out. However, there have been few acts of contrition thus far. Must be an ACC thing.
Not that I care. I wouldn't lose any sleep if the whole damn UL ship sank.
GYERO's own K-GarWow, A Sea Of Blue writer knocks it out of the park. SIAP.

Their fan base is definitely taking the UNC approach. I don't think it's clear yet if Ricky and Tommy will do the same.
If they do dig in, and then the facts are later corroborated, they are in a world of hurt -- which is what I personally am rooting for. [devil]
Cliff's version: The Dirty Birds have 99 problems and some nasty bitches caused each one.I'm trouble keeping up at this point. Is it too much to ask for a synopsis of the goings on up to now?
No I just imagined you getting the joke.
I failed, as did everyone else.
Some of the recruits would have been under 18. That is what potentially pushes this towards Sandusky territory IMO.I really struggle with the broad responses that we see to events like this. On the one hand, you have UNC with a response resembling the most corrupt political machine. On the other, we have WKU and their self annihilation of both the men and women's swim teams for 5 years (though that may have been moderated since). There will be no NCAA penalty of those two sports as there is nothing left to penalize. In WKU's case, we see integrity can still be found. I'm not expecting same from UL.
I'm curious, did any of this allegedly involve kids under age 18 in the process of recruiting? I've been so caught up in the comedy of it all, I've not dug into the specifics of the allegations.
It's not a big deal. Sometimes you just don't notice the punch lineIf someone makes a mistake in their posting, I tend to ignore the mistake if I understand what they originally meant. Too many here making fun of people instead of using this place for it's original intent. So yes I failed to get the joke yesterday.
Shame on me for thinking this is where UK fans communicate about UK BB.
