Hmm major announcement? After president combover's statement patting Tommy on the back and not mentioning Pitino I could make a guess. Could they have finally had enough of Rick? Announcing on Tuesday would give the media a few weekdays to talk about their "fresh start" and get out in front of any more damaging ESPN media attention.

It would be to fast to say the investigation found nothing even for a white wash, if they have a press conference tomorrow could it be to announce the retirement of Pitino? I surely hope not.

Ok, now this thread is getting interesting again.

Remember, the local media was clueless when this initially broke, Forde was the one to break it.
