Yes the NCAA has completed the exhausting investigation in to the worst cheating scandal in collage sports. It take's time to write and file all the necessary response's for UNCheat so all the wording will be just as they would like for it to be, when they officially find and announce the cheating SOB's have done nothing wrong in their eyes. So they need a little break before they deal with something simple like underage prostitutes in dorms having sex with players and their dads.

NCAA still interviewing including boosters. Never a good thing when boosters are getting to talk. I think this is going to go very bad for Pitino. He knew.

So we're going to have to keep bumping this thread til November it seems. The NCAA is still interviewing people (boosters). Notice of Allegations won likely be out for quite a while.

The one thing that never added up in this is the way Pitino talked about it versus how the program acted. The school announced it and launched their own investigation right away, and from every shred of news that came out about that program to KSR or local sports people, the University was pretty much telling them straight up that the allegations were true. From day 1.

And the seriousness with which they handled the allegations versus other false alarms that have been brushed aside over the years shows they found out quite quickly and quite easily that there was truth in her allegations.

Yet Pitino "can't find one person who knew anything about it?"

This was not a blind-side to that program. This wasn't a rogue employee. It didn't take them any serious efforts to know they needed to hire Smrt and tuck their tails between their legs. They knew, and they knew before the book was announced.
