One of the most important issues in this Wacky deal, is John Wolford the QB. I wonder if Elrod ever thought, that he could get the QB seriously hurt. To me that is very important. If the defense knows what play is going to be run, they can "pin their ears" back and blitz the heck out of the QB, a lot more then they would on a normal play. I believe Elrod was the coach who recruited Wolford to Wake Forest. Wolford was sacked 7 times, and suffered a shoulder injury in the loss to Cheating Louisville.

In a Perfect World, this would be a major issue for the governing body to protect the ones affected. But since the NFL is so corrupt and now the NCAA has followed suit, Northern Kentucky University will be penalized next!

Good lord, this isn't a player safety issue. This wouldn't even be a big issue for Louisville if it weren't for other 900 issues they've had in the last few years.

Well that is a big ole fat false.

If WF hadn't learned that UL knew of the plays pre-game, it most certainly could've been a safety issue.

Its pretty obvious UL had their hands on some misdirection/trick plays that WF hadn't run before. Any type of reverse/throwback can be pretty dangerous if the other team knows the ball is going to return to their side of the field...

On that note, the QB's father has just come out publicly about the added danger his son faced due to this scandal. I know football is a dangerous sport as is, but this is certainly grounds for a civil lawsuit to be filed on the players behalf against Elrod and any coaches that are found of misconduct. If I'm the dad of any WF player, you better believe I'm filing a suit against Elrod and likely Louisville.
