What Collins should do

Amid all of the statements concerning what Collins should do for the remainder of the season, I owe it to everyone to contribute my own suggestions. Collins needn't thank me, simply implement them immediately.

First, he should ascertain before tipoff with great certainty which players will play the best in that game, start them, and give them plenty of minutes.

Second, he should rest those players only as needed and for the perfect length of time.

Third, he should provide a game plan that eliminates mistakes and maximizes scoring and defense.

Finally, he should evaluate the athleticism and talent of our opponents and our own players. If that of our opponents exceeds that of our team, he should rapidly and effectively develop the athleticism and talent of our players to a level surpassing that of the opposition prior to the start of the next game. (There are 168 hours in a week, and the games themselves take up only 4. This is what the other 164 hours are for. )

Well, there's the recipe.

After the season, don't forget that he needs to fire the coach responsible for the weakest positions on the floor. Because Olah's jumping ability has barely improved in 4 years, fire the S&C coaches as well.

Wouldn't that be the jumping coach under the ax?

That "Problem" got us two 10-win seasons in the last 4 years, baby! You know what other football coach has gotten us two 10-win seasons in their careers here? No one! Thanks for playing today Turk, we have some nice parting gifts for the farewell tour for you: a "Fire the coaches!" t-shirt and a lifetime supply of Turtle Wax!

Umm, that should be "30 wins in the last 4 years. Ten wins last year."

Do you think we have a full-time strength coach dedicated to jumping?

Absolutely. Along with a 3 point coach, a rebounding coach, a passing coach, man D coach and a zone coach - and when they get together they work on man zone...or zone man....
