What did we learn week 8!?!?

Well that aaa an interesting week. If the playoffs are anything like this, it will surely make for a great post season.

1 - That Palatine is the best the MSL has and a force in 8A.
2 - That Hoffman Estates making the playoffs is a great story.
3 - That the Lake Zurich defense looks like the Lake Zurich defense of old.
4 - That yes Bradley is that good.
5 - That Mt Carmel has kinda fallen apart, but will still make a long 7A playoff run.
6 - That we finally get the mamouth BR-LA game and how fitting its week 9.
7 - That NAZ showed shades of the NAZ of old Friday.
8 - That Oak Park is a team in 8A no one would really like to see.
9 - That VH survived 3 missed FG attempts to upset GBN in the final seconds. Better to be lucky sometimes.
10 - That Carmel has used all 9 of its lives and we are in week 8.

That's my thoughts. One more to go.

That there is a new CSL South champ for the first time in 15 years. Congrats to New Trier on clinching this past Friday.

Looking at what IC has done this far and who they've done it to, I'd be very surprised if they have an even remotely close game in the 3A playoffs.
