In our class system? Why isn't it just "class 4" instead of 4A? What's the A?

In Georgia they actually type out each A like 7A would be AAAAAAA. Then you're like "wait, what? Why not just put the numeral there?"

That’s common core math. 1+6=7 is wrong.
It’s AA-AAA-AA=7. Hope that clears that up. Lol

I’m gonna take a stab at it. It is a generic term(letter) to signify a class. How high or how big the class is, is the numeric value. So A is a group of people/ class, number is how big

It's a nationwide thing and no explanation I can find on The Google.
