IMO, Tre is at his best when he's slashing to the rim for easy layups. He's at his worst when he dribbles around the perimeter and throws up 3s with guys in his face, especially if one of our bigs isn't under the basket for a possible rebound. It's obviously fine if he's shooting from downtown, but I feel his shot selection this season has been worse than last year. We have four very strong outside shooters in BMac, Tap, Falzon, and Lindsey. If there isn't a lane to drive, someone open under the basket, or a wide open look, he needs to keep the ball moving.
Tre is a good enough shooter that he won't stay in a slump if he's only taking layups and wide open shots. I believe we saw that kind of play consistently late last season, so I know he's capable of it. I also have a lot of faith in our coaches, so I have a feeling it'll be something that improves.
