Nebraska will win tomorrow versus Fordham, but what fresh hell will the Huskers inflict on themselves and us during the game?

I'm going to go with a blocked kick return for a Ram TD, though that's a pretty standard, though rare, football play. But is there some kind of bizarre **** that makes us wonder what the team does all week at practice, and if so, what might it be?

Or will it be some seemingly innocuous off-the-field thing that will draw national pundits' attention away from important games so they can ridicule the Huskers?

And ... GO!

I’d rather not guess and just be surprised…

But for it to be a surprise, it would have to be something I haven’t seen yet. I think I’ve seen it all.

this game is a molehill

fans will turn it into a mountain, either positive (look at what's possible in this offense/with AM!) or negative (basically same things said after every loss)

it's a meaningless exhibition, less important than the Spring Game

It's overall meaningless if Nebraska takes care of business.
If they struggle or lose, it indicates we are much worse.

maybe a temporary ego boost

you know, like those reddit posts where 20 something females ask if they are hot, while trying to drive you to their only fans site.

The only significance of this game is the injury report after the game.

As long as there are no injuries, this game means almost nothing (assuming we beat a far inferior team)

I’m going with to old play that is down pat old reliable Martinez fumble in our own territory fordham easily scores. Why try something fancy? Best to go with a proven play

Just run Ervin 25 times and Stepp 15. Doink some underneath stuff to Toure and sideline throws to Martin and call it a day

Is it possible to make an interception at our own 1 yard line, back into the endzone, dance around and get tackled for a safety? Or INT at the 1, then fumble the interception in the endzone for a TD? Those would be new ones we could pull off.

hopefully, they can get all the off sides, holds, late hits, delay of game calls, and turnovers done tomorrow, and we still win.. then them will be out of their system the rest of the year.

no more surprises

Like clockwork, special teams will be atrocious. We will have terrible punts and lose field position because of it. Definitely will have poor decisions fielding the kickoff and punts. I think Frost teaches them to intentionally catch the ball inside the 5. Hopefully no missed extra points.

Don't know. Don't care. Nothing to be learned from this game so I'm ignoring it completely as an indicator of progress. Maybe they'll actually do something smart and get a bunch of evaluation snaps in for guys that didn't play or play much last week. But I doubt it. I'll be watching though, I want to see Rambo's kid Heinie play!

2 or so ejections for tartgeting and AM gets hurt mid 3rd quarter on his 8th qb draw of the game.

Jojo blows up Fordham's running back causes a fumble and Tanner scoop and score ala in the wrong endzone and Jojo is flagged for targeting.

CTB Pick 6, ball flipped into the air in "celebration" before breaking the plane, Fordham offensive player catches it in the air and runs 100 yards for TD.

Hell is fresh, or new, when you think you've experienced the very deepest, darkest, ugliest depths of hell...but then something worse happens to make you realize you weren't yet actually at the very deepest depths of hell.

Make sense?
I think so. Kind of like 2 missed extra points in one game? This dude I was watching the game with last Saturday couldn’t stop laughing after the 2nd one.

Are we nearing Tennessee levels of fresh hell? Or are we already there? 😅

Last play of the game, Nebraska wins as time runs out to only have it come back because we had 11 players on the field.

I predict 2 bad snaps from Jurgens, 1 pick six and 2 ejections from targeting (one of which will overturn an interception from a deflected ball right into the hands of CTB).

We can't even see Tennessee in our rearview mirror anymore.

Martinez throws it off the back of one of our lineman’s helmets in a clean pocket, right to a Fordham player who jogs it in for 6. The first score of the game.

Fordham will be overmatched so we'll play loose and cruise. It's when the talent is somewhat comparable that the sphincters tighten and we can't get out of our own way.
