Rick is what he is. Great coach, one of the goats, but also made some super terrible decisions. St. John’s is a pretty garbage program and he’s got them doing what they’re doing. That’s called excellent. But here? Too old and not equipped anymore. I never understood anyone wanting to hire him.

Again, Kentucky standards. If you can’t meet them you have to go. That includes everyone. Win the SEC, beat most quality teams, recruit top teams, and be in the mix for a final four most years in a decade. That’s the standard.

Lololo not only have you demonstrated you didnt know there was a full season, today you showed us you didnt know there were 2 halves.

You're doing great.

I know youve got pat Riley on speed dial, bc everyone's lined up to take the job.

"We need to get someone who understands us"
*hires someone like that*
"What the hell is this!!!"

Again, you would've fired Dan hurley after his first 4 years.....you cannot square that peg

Ps...what about that defense today. I thought we couldn't do that?

Didn't you make threads everytime Calipari beat someone with a pulse. About how he's making us look stupid and he's a hall of fame coach?

Lol, get out of here dude.

I want to see Pope put a dominant team on the floor before i get excited for him again. I still enjoy and rewatch the wins but I can’t get my hopes up for the future until i see us roll off a decent winning streak against legit competition.

So far hes only been able to put together 2 or 3 good games in a row.

oh and no, what Pitino has done at St. john’s hasn’t really impressed me. If he had made a run with them as a 2 seed last year I would have been. but they choked to arkansas.

I wouldn't take anything away from Coach Pitino. He doesn't have the same talent to work with as UK has, but his gameplan was very solid. It's the same plan every team has used against this UK team- play physical with them, don't give anything away. His team played great in the first half and could have won this game. It took some stellar play from multiple UK players in that 2nd half to beat them. I wish he had never left UK in 1997. It was a big mistake. We'd have at least 10 titles if he had stayed, and he would have about 5 right now, maybe more. We were well on our way to dynasty when he left in 1997. Tubby won on his leftovers. Anyway, now that he's not at Louisville, I'm back in his corner. I don't want him at UK, but I wish him well.
