As I try to remain as positive as possible, what seriously happens next? We can all point towards coaching, talent, game mangement, etc, etc....but those I don't think are going to change much over HCMR 's tie at Nebraska....

Yes I agree SE punted this one, we can all agree with that one. But is everyone seriously thinking tat HCMR needs more time?

Also, listening to Big Red Overreaction, sounds like people are finished with HCMR and will not be renewing tickets next year......Myself, I'm a season ticket holder and am still on the fence what to do for next year....

Emotion run high wen you lose, but this might rank right up there with one of wort coaching hires that I can remember.....Gerry Faust type hire if you ask me.

I'm hoping Riley is not an old five and dimer...that he came here to win. He may have to let a pal(s) go to reach his goals.

I'm willing to give him 2 or 3 years to get himself together. it is very difficult to have this philosophy when winning means so much. But, @ my pay grade, I have no choice.

By the way, thank you for serving our country!

Watching MSU/Indiana, i still think we can beat them even with the earlier events of today. Win the last four games, ruin Iowa's dreams, go to a bowl, and recruit like hell.

If we're 3-5 at this time next year, then maybe I'll question the hire. 5 losses by a combined 13 points. Just crazy! I am however concerned with the lack of fire the team showed in the 2nd half today.

Yeah, losing sucks and emotions run high in times like this. Let's just hope we can pull out three more wins and move onto Spring!

What happens next? If you ask me nothing will change any time soon. Riley isn't winning contests against equal talent. Close games or not, all kids see is the win-loss column. Fans of other teams just know Nebraska as a has been, which what we are. MR's fate will be the same as Bo's if he doesn't get rid of dead weight assistant coaches.

After 15 years of mediocrity and even more seats than we had 15 years ago, the demand still seems to be adequate to fill every one. I'm glad I no longer have to unload any tickets. I imagine it's pretty tough to even get face price and of course face price often is a small fraction of cost.

No need to call out Archie in this thread. He is posting this afternoon and I don't recall him attacking anyone today. As for last week, the Rileyites were feeling a bit overconfident for some reason. Getting that third win was huuuuuuge.

Oops, I was wrong. Just noticed he said Riley critics are dumb as ****, not that I think **** is either smart or dumb.

Well its up to the fans. If fans stage a mass walkout, something would happen.

Absent that, Riley will be here next year. Basically if the issue becomes money, then we could possibly see movement. If its on the field/time, he stays.

I'm still on the time train. SE doesn't want to play the "must walk in here in year one and be everything we dreamed" lottery. Very low hit rate on that.

No he didn't. I think his words were "it was a new adventure" or some such BS like that.
