If Michigan holds on will they be criticized for winning 13 to 11? Louisville would be roasted for that.

And that is to a pedestrian 5-4 Iowa team at that. BIG not as strong as the pundits claim they are? Oh my!

The Hawkeyes just kicked the winning FG with 3 seconds left on the clock. Dayum, 2-3-4 all go down tonight. This must be Upset Saturday on steroids. Yea! OSU and the Cards ought to benefit bunches from this. We shall see.

And all the other 2 loss teams out there see a glimmer of hope too!

I agree with Kerry - 1) Bama 2) Ohio 3) University of Louisville 4) Clemson (or maybe Michigan). I know #2 is actually Ohio State, but if you ever want to piss a buckeye fan off just call them "Ohio", it drives them nuts!

All the talking heads will go berserk if we are ranked above Clemson because of head to head. I think it really doesn't matter what happens because if we aren't playing on championship Saturday we'll get passed by, even if we do get in to the top 4.

And that head to head argument is garbage. One play away from beating Clemson in their house. UofL wins on a neutra field!

Go Deacs! Make it easy for us.

It should be:

1) Bama
2) OSU
3) Clemson (only because they beat us head to head)
4) UL

If UL jumps to #3 no way we are not in the playoffs if we win out. The team with the best chance to jump us would be Michigan if they beat OSU but then that would be 2 losses for OSUand we are better than any 2 loss team!

Dat. And those BS-ers better not keep a Michigan team floating at the top after playing their first 5 games at home and waiting til week 11 before playing a road game against a team that could pass for an FBS squad.

Clemson lost to an unranked team at home giving up 43 points.
Theyre not dropping just one spot.

Correct.

The rankings November 15th will be interesting. But the rankings on December 4th are what really matter. If there are four P5 conference champions with one or fewer losses, that will be your final four.

What is "should" be and what "it is" i have a bad feeling will not look as pretty as we were hoping. Funny how Washington gets their schedule chopped at for SOS but get a pass it seems when they lose, while we lose to clemson and it was close but thats a huge issue.

Long way to go, but at this point there is no 2nd SEC team, no viable Big 12 team, shakey PAC 12, and a very good chance that neither Michigan or OSU wins the BiG. Just crazy. Go Cards!

I have no clue what to expect. For some strange reason, I think the Cards will only move up 1 spot if they move up at all.

I'm cautiously optimistic we will get to #4. It SHOULD be:

#1 Alabama
#2 OSU
#3 Clemson
#4 Louisville

Michigan and Worshington should drop several spots since they both had the worst rated schedules out of the top 8. Michigan will probably drop to #5.
