I've made a lot of things over the years, of course they were all made from some type of metal.

I made myself a charcoal grill out of a stainless steel beer keg about 22 years ago. Mounted it on a steel frame with wheels. Still got it; I've had several people want to buy it over the years.

I've probably grilled on it 6-700 times, and with it being stainless it will practically last forever.

Sounds like you could market and sell that.

Oh, no doubt I could, but I no longer have my shop. I sold everything I had several years ago and basically retired from welding. (Behind my back, my ex wife bankrupted us, that's why she's my ex, lol)

I've made grills, mailboxes, elaborate candle holders, anything and everything you can think of over the years. Things like that I made during any time I had time in between my "real" work: repairing broken farm equipment, bulldozers, backhoe buckets, truck frames & axles, etc., etc., etc.

It was often hard, dirty work, but I loved it; I was basically raised in a welding/ machine shop.

Told y'all it was going to be ******.

I've only built decks before. Never used the wood filler before. Didn't stain the wood before applying the stained filler.
Didn't have a planer or jigsaw or mitre saw. Just a circular and sander.

I think I'll practice on this piece when I pick up a few more tools. It's a sturdy son of a *****, though. All the hardware is on the inside, so at least its got that going for it... which is nice.

A gun rack. It even had a hinged door compartment I could put ammo in. Stained it and felt to keep the guns from scratching.

Took a piece of copper sheet. And I formed it into the shape of a dog pointing. Then I made a wood mitered frame to go around it and stained it.

Then I think I made a plaster monkey. I remember painting it.

Yes I'm quite talented. A prodigy if you will. Did all that as a youngster before high school.
