Don't throw hate :) What if Frost does not find success here? I believe like many that he is our best chance to rise back to the top since TO. What happens if he fails. Would you consider that the official end of husker dominance. That we are forever to be know in the same breath as Iowa and MN type teams? That will will never find success again?
I am think yes. This is our best shot. We have the best admin in place we have had in decades. We have a coach who is from here and all resources available. We have a fan base that is probably the most united it has been in 20 years. Everything is pointing in the direction of success. If he fails I really don't know what else we could do to have it again.

I dunno, you have to actively try hard to fail here. The incompetence in finding coaches since T.O. left approaches a level that defies explanation. Even coaches like Solich and Bo that were not good recruiters and not great game day coaches still won a lot of games. Both Callahan and Riley, by far our two worse coaches of that lot, still recruited fairly well.

Many programs have been in these dips (or trough in our case) including Texas, aTm, tOSU, Michigan, ND, Alabama, etc. The footballing infrastructure you have to take years to build to take a program to the next level is already present in schools like those mentioned above including NU, so oftentimes, you just need a good coach, some belief and a couple of years of good recruits and you are off to the races again.

Good points. I don't think recruiting is an issue like many at UCF lol are pointing out. If a team finds a couple years of success the recruits will follow. Look at Ohio St and Penn St. They are not the epicenter of recruiting hot beds. They get them to come.
