What is it with this team and this coaching staff?

There are a lot of things you can point at but picking one it is the lack of ability to run the ball and convert short yardage situations when the game is on the line. That is on the OL.

All of our problems can be traced back to the fact that we can not run the ball consistently and/or when needed.

A 3rd and 2 should be a gimmie play if you can run the ball.

I was very unimpressed with our rush against Michigan State. Nobody got off blocks.

If you believe in stars:

We have 4 4* OL prospects returning next year. Effner, Scruggs, Walker, Wallace, Wormley

But once they're gone all we have is 3* prospects. Achumba, Christ, Dawkins, Fashnau, Traore


Some 4* kids fail to live up to their hype and some 3* kids excel. Even so, I don't like the fact that we took 5 OL in 2020 but none achieved a 4* rating. We only got 1 OL last year but he was 4* (Tengwall).
