Last tonight I spent 76 dollars on a meal, not by choice but because it was for a bachelor party. Problem is it was just for myself, no date no chance of getting laid. Since we all dream of having paddock money and I know we are surrounded by high rollers here, what's the most you've ever spent on a meal? What was it, and did it lead to taming some strange? I can't justify dropping that kind of dough on a meal when I could of had Golden Corral for much cheaper and atleast had my dignity afterwards.

You ever eat at a casino in Las Vegas? I know I never will again

Japanese place in Epcot. Technically didn't 'pay' for it as it was part of the meal plan, but it was nearly $400 including tip for 4 adults and 3 kids. I'm a world renowned cheapass, so it was unfathomable for me. I ate every. last. bite. and. whatever. the. kids. had. leftover. too.

Are we counting booze? If so, I don't know how to answer this without it sounding like a humble brag, but I'm not proud of it. Hundreds, though. Never broke a grand. I know some people in here have

I didn't have any alcohol so i was just going based off food. I know I would of had another heart attack if I would paid 12 bucks for a gin and tonic I watched one guy buy. The meal was good but I can't justify 76 bucks for any meal, unless it involves some tang.

1986, and was first wedding anniversary. Got reservation at the revolving restaurant atop the Quality Inn hotel in Covington, KY. Filet mignon, lobster tail and bottle of champagne. Came to $125, before the tip. Still most I've ever spent on meal for two. Of course in today's money that'd be at least double that amount.

I think the Brazilian steakhouse I went to in Chicago was about $65. Worth every penny. If you've never been to one you need to. Servers just walking around with all different types of meat and you just ask for some. The salad and sides bar was great to but I didn't waste a lot of room for that crap when it was all the different meats you can eat.

I love a gin and tonic. But not for $12 bucks
You would think that a drink would be included in the price but that was not the case. 50 bucks for the meal, 3 for a Coke, 8 bucks for dessert which I thought was included in the 50 dollar price tag, and then they hit you with the gratuity. If I were homeless I would hang out by their dumpster and just eat all the scraps

96 bucks at Hall's Steakhouse here in Chucktown. Worth every penny. My co-worker dropped 150 but she had cocktails with her meal.

We paid, but got reimbursed. Had $150 per diem so we decided to have a big dinner and pay our own bfast/lunch.

About $85.00 on a dinner in Phoenix one evening. Food was good but, not worthy of the price. Add about $15.00 on tip for the waitress (she was a hottie) and it was enough to never do it again.

A ridiculous amount. It was a 6 course meal at nemacolin this past New Years with my wife on a babymoon :flushed: . The main entree was a Kobe beef (actually Kobe beef) filet. Caviar for an app, the works. Don't remember the actual price but it was pretty close if not 4 figures. Did not get laid as my wife was 8 months pregnant and not feeling it. Was a great meal though.

I think I paid around $92 at a place in South Beach called Ola. I had lobster ceviche, a lobster empenada, and a filet with crabmeat dressing, and a 2-3 beers. Awesome meal and it was charged off to my expense account, as we were there for a trade show for work. Most I've ever paid for a meal on my own is about $120 for my wife and I at the Spanish River Grill in New Smyrna Beach.

$500 for a comped meal at Jack Binions in Tunica. There was a group of 7 of us at the table. We probably dropped $5K between in the couple hours we were at that table.

They were more than happy to comp us our meals. We all got the surf and turf. Meal was damned good but service was slow. One jackass in our group refused to eat his because the service was too slow. We devoured his plate like a fat kid at Gattitown.

Most I've ever forked out for a meal I paid for directly out of pocket was around $400 at Prime in Bellagio me and the wife.

Boss told me to set up a dinner in a Chicago and keep it under $200 / pop. We selected Everest and used every dime. Ripoff.

If I had it to do over, I would have picked Gibson's. You could do a bone in filet, a couple of sides, apps, and a bottle of Cab per person and it would have been just as good.

Now that sucks. I don't mind paying for a good meal but it pisses me off to overpay for food that clearly isn't worth the price point.

1700. It was four of us. Would have been roughly 900 but for the wine hounds. Company paid.

Steak place in Louisville. Rick pitino was seated next to us. My buddy tried to talk to him and he was pretty much not interested.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible. But Everest is old and showing its age. You need to be ready to drop about $300 / person there to do it up right. I was constantly worrying about the bill too.

There are plenty of bad things you can say about Pitino but I wouldn't want to be bothered while dining either.

^ Ruby's

Mine was right at $400 for 2 at Ruby's in Louisville. Most I've been around was one of my best buddies at Carlo and Johnny in cincy, was $550 for 2...with his wife pregnant and not drinking. He was lit and getting quite liberal with the shrimp and shellfish. Smh.

On a road trip with a sports' team. There were ~20 of us and the bill with tip was over $4000. Pappas Brothers Steakhouse in Dallas. Everyone ordered their own premium steak 1-3 individual sides and dessert. Hands down the best meal I've ever had.

As far as I've paid??? I know ever time I've gone to Morton's or Ruth's Chris in Nashville I've dropped over $150 for 2

Personally, for myself, about $300.

On the expense account entertaining clients, 5 figures a few times.

My wedding reception cost me my soul.... folks!!!

Seriously though, 15th anniversary at Daniel... $700 all in for two. Did not include $65 for parking.
