About $250 at Ruth's Chris on my wife's birthday. Cocktails, a ribeye, and a lobster that was just "flown in". Pretty sure we bought it's plane ticket. Didn't care it was a spectacular meal. Would do it again in a minute.

I think the Brazilian steakhouse I went to in Chicago was about $65. Worth every penny. If you've never been to one you need to. Servers just walking around with all different types of meat and you just ask for some. The salad and sides bar was great to but I didn't waste a lot of room for that crap when it was all the different meats you can eat.
I ate at one of those in Dallas around 2001. It was a cool experience. I think it was $75 each, maybe that included the tip. Can't remember exactly, I was in a big group.

I don't care what anybody says, the garlic butter hot plates they serve their steaks on at Ruth's Chris are freaking genius, and I love it.

Japanese place in Epcot. Technically didn't 'pay' for it as it was part of the meal plan, but it was nearly $400 including tip for 4 adults and 3 kids. I'm a world renowned cheapass, so it was unfathomable for me. I ate every. last. bite. and. whatever. the. kids. had. leftover. too.
Teppan Edo? Ate there last trip. Pretty outstanding.

Did you get to meet him and have him sign your menu? The place is unreal.
nope. Got VIP treatment though as I was a guest of the CFO (dude I met at dog park [Chief's Dad]). Table was in wine room overlooking main dining. Fiji water $10...

Did meet Jean Georges though.

This thread should be titled "What is the most you have ever spent on food at a meal". Currently, it is nothing more than who has tallied the most w/ expensive drinks tipping the scale.

For a party of 2....

Food...$250 plus at Mama's Fish House in Maui.

Food and drinks... close to $400 at Sinatra at Wynn b/c of 2 very nice bottles of Cab.

What did you get at mama's? I don't recall it breaking the bank.

Now that my kids are beginning to eat off the "big" menu, I drop about 50-60 bucks every time I go to O'Chuck's. The lady and I usually have water (with lemon), but my young heathens can't resist lemonade and/or chocolate milk. Ya feel me?

1700. It was four of us. Would have been roughly 900 but for the wine hounds. Company paid.

Steak place in Louisville. Rick pitino was seated next to us. My buddy tried to talk to him and he was pretty much not interested.

He probably was in a hurry. He only had 15 seconds to finish.

The wife and I were staying at a top hotel (Claridges) in London about 12 years ago. The hotel's restaurant had this hot shot chef who people were talking up. We had a three course dinner and a bottle of wine for $500. It was good but it wasn't worth $500. The name of the restaurant and chef was Gordon Ramsay.

Got a $175 gift certificate to Jeff Ruby's and still paid $180 out of my own pocket for the wife and I. That's the most we have spent other than buying a $400 dinner or so for my family, mom & dad, and my sisters family at the beach during family vacation time.

Paid a little over $100 for a meal once but it was for 2 of us. Most I've ever spent for myself is probably $40.

I did spend $200 on a "hamburger" in a place in Rio that was in the red light district.... Come to think of it, the price was probably not just for the hamburger. So, never mind.

Best danged burger I have ever had though.

This is kind of a funny one... took a flight into Singapore and after 20 hours of travel we just wanted to get something to eat and get some rest. What better way to do it than the hotel buffet. Didn't look at the price, but were shocked to see it was $110 a pop when the bill came.

I've dropped $145 before at Ruby's on the old waterfront. Mostly on the raw bar and drinks.

I love seafood so it was worth it.

Any high end steakhouse these days is gonna run you $60 a person.

I can't recall the most for any meal, but I'll never forget dropping $115 for breakfast at The O-B House in Fort Lauderdale. Me, the wife, and our 2 kids (ages 8 and 4). Mandatory 'no tipping'. I mean, it was good. But we talkin' bout breakfast

Wife and I did a multi-course meal at Del Posto with a bottle of Barollo that cost about $500 all in. I had more truffles that night than the rest of my life combined. I think the price was $150 per person for the meal.

Ate a $100 steak at Craft Steak in Vegas that sucked think that total meal was only about $300 though.

Chicago and Miami are the two places I don't mind dropping a money bag for good food.
