Crazy people still think that leasing isn't buying. Dude, leasing is buying the depreciation of a car...the most expensive depreciation the car will experience...like that part where you drive it off the lot.
This. He made fun of something and then recommended something worse. It would be like making fun of a WKU fan and suggesting they switch to U of L.

Clean the battery terminals.

99% of the time it fixes everything. 99%

Does it have a turbo? My former 2007 Mazda CX-7 turbo was dying and I was told that it had to be replaced or the car would eventually not get enough power to start.

My family owns a large used car lot and I love it when someone mentions a lease. lol.

Some of the dumbest crap imaginable. Up there with being dumb enough to buy brand new.
I actually bought brand new this year. A Honda Fit. Brand new it was cheaper than all the used cars I was looking at. Only reason why I bought brand new. Would have gotten a used Fit but there were no used ones anywhere in town.

I agree. There are nicely priced brand new vehicles. I was meaning the 60,000 dollar trucks that could be bought for half that after 20,000 miles. Didn't mean if for your type of purchase. Some nissans are priced great at retail new.

Trade it in and use the $500 dollars you get for it towards you down payment and lease your next car.

Crazy people still buy things that depreciate.

Never understood this sentiment. Unless you're buying a super rare car, it's not an investment.

People buy things all day every day that depreciate. It's like saying don't buy food because once you eat it thst money is gone. A car allows you to make money. So opportunity cost of not buying a car is your salary, unless you can walk/bus it.

Not to mention that a lease is essentially the depreciation of car. So you are basically just paying the depreciation for 3 years and then starting over with ZERO value to show for it.

you need to confirm that there is fuel being pumped to the injectors.
could be either a bad fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.
a fuel filter can be clogged with water too, not just debris.
a cam sensor will either work or not; no in between.
if the timing belt failed the engine would turn-over faster during starting, than it would during normal operation.
lastly, it is possible that the catalytic converter is stopped-up and choking the engine. remember, a combustion engine is really just a complex air compressor.

OP- I think you might be a bit of a drama king. But you should listen to Drawing_Dead. He doesn't post much but for some reason I think he does that because he realizes most of us are dumb asses.

Listen to Drawing_Dead. And take it like a man.

Engines need three things to run. Fuel, Spark, and timing. Since it's turning over fine and not backfiring, timing is probably good. Now remove the air cleaner and spray some starting fluid in it. If it starts, you've got a fuel problem. If it doesn't, you've got a spark problem. Now, find a Mazda message board and ask the same question and you can probably get a better direction on which way to look.

That guy did Angelina Jolie for years until Brad Pitt showed up.

I remember this scene on the tonite show:
