A for sure. With all the injuries we had to deal with and the SEC having an epic season. Definitely an A!!
B. There was alot that was outside of his control... But he had times where the team came out unprepared... Strange sub patterns. Not going zone a times when it worked so well in a few games. As I said In another thread.. I think he is still growing into the fishbowl that is UK. I think he will get it. Might need a more defensive minded assistant coach.. I'm happy, and ready to see next year.

Considering where we were a year ago and what he had to accomplish in very short time… he deserves an A and nothing less. IMO
This right here. He’s never won a ncaa tournament game so that monkey is off his back. But now he will be on the Kentucky coaching grading scale from this point forward

Anything lower is delusional given (1) the lack of time he had to assemble his staff and go get players for a team after Cal took off and took the roster with him and (2) the insanely difficult league that he had to navigate

I give him a A all things considered.
Now it's about building for the future. We could still be a couple seasons away from being elite, if he ever takes us there. We need to see progression even if we make a lateral move into next season.

look, we all knew Cal would leave the program empty when he left and anyone who said they wouldn't have been happy with a sweet 16 the day Cal left is lying

A from me. While he slightly disappointed on the season overall, the team never had a chance at a deep tourney run without Robinson.
Not sure how many teams could take their top NIL player off them and be a real threat. We were no different.
In some dumb timing ways we were the 11th team left standing. That’s about right based on the season as a whole.

Context matters. If he has this season in year 6 it’s just average, you aren’t happy but not pissed. After the last 4 years and this being his first plus many other factors, it was a great job.
I sure feel better than I did after our season ending fiasco last year… just saying.
A+ when you consider he started with absolutely nothing then had all the huge injuries to deal with. Reaching the Sweet 16 is a remarkable accomplishment under what he had to deal with. I give him tremendous respect.
My bad. Think the excessive negativity and my own sadness over the loss have me all messed up.

None of us predicted we could grab 3 seed preseason. All we thought is fringe top 25 at best, and win one game in tournament
Think this sums it up well.
Even though I am completely upset about tonight’s performance and lack of effort. With all the injuries this season and not having a returning player from the previous roster. I give him an A.

I would give him an A as well tough year with injuries and having to scrap together a team pretty quickly. I think if anyone else is coaching this team with the circumstances our record is much worse. We overachieved in my eyes realistically. I'm excited for what's to come.
