What is your order of preference?

when we make it to the finals this year, let's assume a 1 or 2 seed will be there with us. Maybe it won't be, but for the sake of a smaller list, List the 1's and 2's by order of who you think gives us the best odds of winning. For me, it's

1. uk. I think we are a bad matchup for them
2. UNC. I really think we are better than them at full strength
3. UVA. Don't want to have to beat them 3 times
4. UT

I put UT last because they are such an unknown for me, I have only watched them twice all year. From what I seen in just those two games, they have a great point guard, and a few different players who can shoot the 3. Those are two things that scare me in a one and out situation

1. UT - They don’t defend the paint well and they foul a lot against teams that are dominant in the paint.

2. Gonzaga - Not sold on them, never have been. They got dumb lucky shooting 70% against solid D the first 25 mins against us.

3. UK - Like you said, they don’t matchup well with us. A lot has changed since November but we won by 34 with Zion only playing 20 minutes. They’re also terrible at boxing out on offense.

4. UNC - I don’t want to play them in the championship. Not because I think they’re better but because they’re capable of beating us and the agony of that defeat would sting for a lifetime and give them the upperhand in trash talk forever. Of course, it would be the world’s best scenario if we won but I don’t want to gamble that.

5. UVA - Also like you said, we’ve already beat them twice. Of course we can do it 3 times but bad things happen when you get greedy.

6. Michigan - I have no idea why Michigan is my worst fear, and I’ve praised them all year. I think I’m stuck in December. They were a wrecking ball prior to conference. I think that early season monster was effected by the B1G slow tempo pace. Conference is over, I don’t want to know whether or not that legit team they once were still exists.

I’d go almost the complete opposite.

The first is probably UT. I just feel they would really struggle to guard us.

Next is UVA. We’re a tough matchup for them.

Then UK. I’d just prefer not to have to play them again.

UNC can go to hell.

2. UVA - we matchup well, but not sure I want to play a team we beat twice again.
3. KY - I don’t think we win by 34 again, but a double digit win wouldn’t surprise me.
4. Cheats - I’m too young to go on blood pressure meds
