Heās about to learn the customers have a big problem. We have eyes. Many know football quite well from playing it and/or watching and studying it for many years. There wonāt be 50,000 at the next 2 games.Same old same old.
At some point, I need to hear him say something as simple and obvious as "We need to mix things up a bit. What we're doing isn't working."
It just doesn't give me great confidence when, after the offensive performances we've seen this year, he keeps saying he doesn't have any problems with what we're doing.
Little early for stat comparisons. We are the only SEC team to play 2 SEC teams so far. Both are ranked currently in the top 10, with one being #1. Many SEC teams haven't even played an SEC game yet. We have had the toughest schedule of anybody in the nation so far.
Hard to argue with that. We should light up the scoreboard in the next 2 weeks at WB.Little early for stat comparisons. We are the only SEC team to play 2 SEC teams so far. That's true also. Our offense didn't fare any better against Ga State.

True. Bad look for the first game, but not unusual. If we have those same struggles for the next 2 games, we are in trouble.
I don't know 18, pouring it on against an obviously overmatched opponent like Charlotte to pad stats isn't a good look for a program seeking respect. It would look better to get a comfortable lead early and then start playing backups. Piling on a weak opponent and leaving starters in for the whole game is something clemson would do and act like they had done something great.Hard to tell what to expect. Charlotte is allowing 45 ppg and 563 ypg so far this year. And that's against the likes of FAU, William and Mary, Maryland and Ga State. So, 45 points and 563 yards are the absolute bare minimum for that game. Anything less and we need to clean house on the offensive side of the ball immediately. We'll need to score at least 60 and rack up at least 600 yards for me to feel like we've figured anything out on offense. A middle of the road SEC offense would easily manage that against this Charlotte team.

I think the best thing to do in this game is to let Doty play a good bit and see how the offense looks. After Saturday, I don't think Rattler is the guy who gives us the best chance to win.
