Dennis DeYoung took a great sound from the band (eg "Blue collar Man")--and then took the band in a more operatic direction--swirling into the toilet to eventually come into the contact of one....Mr Roboto.

DeYoung was fine in the beginning, but he did get too theatrical.
They've returned quite a bit to their roots since DeYoung left. If they ever do play Mr Robot it's kind of sarcastically
This is not on my list. for one reason. A long time friend of mine works for a record label in Nashville. She knows the people that wrote this. According to her it was literally them going "oh crap, we have to write a song to honor the contract! uhh, RED SOLO CUP! yeah, thats the ticket"

That picture is from a court room. Paul Simon and Edie were both arrested after someone called the police over a domestic disturbance at their home. It seems that they were having quite the fight.
