What song or album that takes you back to your senior year of High School?

also a UK grad, 1982; college senior year, I know London Calling came out a year or two earlier, but we wore out Train in Vain by The Clash
Oh yeah. Party favorites. Thankfully disco was dying down by our senior year.

I know this. A lot of my old vinyl is over at my Dad's house, and in that collection is a copy of the Wall. I would bet just about anything that if I drove over there right now, dug my old records out and opened up that double album liner, in the creases I would find enough grass to roll a pinner. That album jacket saw a ton of action circa 80 to 82 LOL

This was pretty much me in high school. Except the cool kids weren't listening to good music at the time

My brothers used to go around singing lyrics that aren't even close. Not sure what they heard. Lyricosis.

1978 had some great songs but looking back at the Top 100 it was dominated by Disco and Soft Pop. Didn't like it then, don't like it now. Well, some of it.
