I know every place has their village idiots and turds, but people from which states are the worst?

1.) Michigan - Don't think I've ever met a pleasant person from Michigan in my life.

2.) New Jersey - Does this really need explanation?

3.) Indiana - Just an odd group. You have the jackwagon types like Dan Dakich. Then, you also have the weirdos, like the McLovin clone who was drinking out of the bleach container after Fort Wayne beat IU last night.

A 75 mile radius from New York City contains the highest concentration of A-holes in the country.

I've never met a single decent human being from Michigan or Indiana, and I'm trying pretty hard to think of one from Ohio.

New Jersey, New York and Connecticut are also positively infested with ******** but at least I have met some cool people from those states.

It's gotta be Michigan or Indiana, I mean...those states have places like Detroit, Flint, South Bend and Assemby Hall in them. Mercy.

Surprisingly, Florida has a lot of awful people. We get an aggregation of awful people from all 50 states. We're the melting pot of ********.
When I lived in Florida, most of the community were retired New Yorkers. I stand by my original answer. ********. The lot of them.

Herod, what makes the NY Floridians awful is the fact they sold their ****** NY roach motel home for a half million and then came down to Florida and bought a grand home for $150k. Using the rest of the money drinking it up at Applebees

Yessir! What was also ******, they would buy Rays season tickets just to go watch the GD Yankees. I know several who would basically give tickets to any other game away, but would beat you with their walker and run over you with their golf cart if you wanted their Yankees tickets. GD shame.

I know that many are very close to the right answer. New York, Florida around Miami, all the East Coast but the true answer is really California.

When I lived in Las Vegas, the LV Review Journal did a poll on the best and worst of Las Vegas. I think it has been a regular thing in the paper for years.

The overwhelming winner every year of the worst thing about Las Vegas?

California tourist.

Californians just live on a different planet. New Yorkers and Jersey Shore dbags are a serious breed of ahole. I deal with folks all over the country for business and it never fails the worst are always from the Northeast (mainly New York, New Jersey). Philly folks are not far behind.

Based on my limited experience, I'd go with Illinois. Chicago really skews the curve for an otherwise decent state.

I'd go with New York, Indiana, and Illinois. I'd also say most of Michigan - the lower peninsula. I was partly raised in the western upper peninsula, it's full of country boys that talk funny and they don't like lower Michigan either, anybody south of Big Mac is a damned troll. They call people from Illinois FIBs - fooking Illinois bastards.

Not fond of Californian's but they're so odd and out of touch that it's hard to take them seriously. They literally have NO idea what the rest of the country is like.

Californians are hard to judge because it's hard to know which ones are transplants.

When I moved to CA in 1995 and started work, we had a meeting in which my manager mentioned a guy who had "just moved back east." Kinda being from "back east" myself (I had been living in Atlanta before CA), I was curious, so I asked exactly where the guy had moved to.

Phoenix, the answer was Phoenix. Apparently Phoenix is "back east" to people from California.
