With big name movies such as Gladiator 2, Joker 2, Twisters, Horizon an American saga, Beverly Hills Cop Axl F and The Crow coming out this summer what are you most looking forward to watching? While that is a good list I think I am looking most forward to Gladiator 2 because the first one was one of my all time favorite movies and Denzel Washington is one of my all time favorite actors.

Probably just Megalopolis. But I'll take my niece to see Alien: Romulus if she wants me to.

Edit: my bad, Megalopolis hits theaters in September. I thought it was releasing in July.

Sad, but true. Not to say I don't enjoy those others but how bout something original? The limited streaming series has replaced those films, I guess.
So true. Where have all the ideas gone? If a sequel of a movie can bring in just a few bucks more then it's worth tossing fresh takes aside. Hollywood is so out of touch with reality.

One that doesn't involve Vampires, Super Heroes, dragons, anime, sequels, cgi...
I am in the same boat. Seems like anything now is Marvel or some sci-fi crap. I know alot of people like those but its never done anything for me. I wish we could have more Bourne type movies or something in this genre. Scicario 3 was supposed to come out and then Covid happen IIRC and havent heard a peep since. Those first two movies were A+.

Alien Romulus
Longlegs

A lot of the remakes don't interest me.. but I am curious to see what they do with Twister. That sort of movie feels ripe to see what they can do with it, almost 30 years later.

Longlegs looks pretty good. Ole Nick Cage taking any and every role thrown his way.

It's getting great reviews in the horror community. Many are calling it one of the best serial killer movie since Silence of the Lambs.
