I'm more inclined to pick a positive play as opposed to negatives for others. That was such a good game. Back and forth hard fought.
I thought when we got the ball back after Jacksons fumble we were gonna run the ball and play for overtime. When I saw Johnson drop back and throw the ball downfield and saw how open Badet was, I had to thoughts, please catch the ball and second, Sorry to admit this but I was like please don't be Timmons.

I was glad to see us going for the win and being agressive instead of playing not to lose and passive. Time on the clock, there's a chance to win and we went for it. I loved that whole last possession.

I think Timmons has done pretty well this year, not just catching ball but blocking, etc. Since he has started all year apparently the coaches agree, we do have some studs playing behind him.

Of course I am sure you could have done better.

No I couldn't have done better. That's why I never
Played college football. Duh!

I'll agree Timmons has done an awesome job at blocking all season but that doesn't mean he has
Cured his tendency to drop the ball. See James Quick who still drops balls as a SR and dropped one against us that would have resulted in a TD.
Just keep on being you man....

The first Mike Edwards interception. Was a big play and helped keep us in the game. It reminded me of Trevard Lindleys interception against LSU. Obviously the fumble and FG were great too, but that Edwards pick was huge at the moment.

Off topic just a bit but everyone needs to read article on Yahoo today concerning end result of Governor's Cup- someone told them the best thing about it was "sticking it to petrino" then the article retraced his steps since '01 with all his lies and chasing other jobs and what a "no class sob" he really is- great read.

The totality of Coach Gran's "game plan" & the execution of that "game plan" by all the UK athletes!

When we went deep on our first play after giving up a score in 3 plays. It was the aggression that I hadn't seen all year from UK. I think it made all the difference in the world. If we usually do the Kentucky thing and just go out and run it 2 times, incomplete pass, and punt, it probably would of been a blood bath. I don't know who called it. but props to finally being aggressive this year.

A little obscure but I loved the flair pass to Snell. He caught it, squared his pads and turned straight upfield like he was shot from a gun.
Plus I haven't seen a catch out of the backfield in ages. I hope they work that in a little more in the bowl game!

I really was surprised that Grantham didn't anticipate us taking some shots down field early. Did he even watch tape on SJ? Guy has been throwing some beauties for a while now, although not as often as on Saturday. I suppose he was more concerned about Benny and Boom. In hindsight, Gran got the better of Grantham. He knew their rush D was good and he decided to sling it around a little more. And it payed dividends.

Agree, that game plan was pretty fantastic when you look back at it. Taking their shots downfield, running Johnson, and really keep Gratham guessing.

Agree about the goal line stand.

But I think my favorite play was the catch by Dorian Baker for the TD. We were stalled a little bit and it was a key third down -- going to lead to a long field goal. Dorian has been trying a little too hard and I was hoping he would come up big -- both for himself and the team. He came up big with that adjustment and the catch.

Kudos also go to SJ who put that ball at a spot that only Dorian could catch it.

One thing is for sure...after having rewatched the game about 5 times (haha), we made HUGE plays throughout the game. This game was no fluke.

My favorite play was Johnson's pass to Badet to set up the winning FG. It reminded me of the Patriots in 2002 Super Bowl when the Rams had just scored the tying TD and how they didn't settle on playing for OT. As a Rams fan, I was hoping they would just come out and play for OT and when they didn't it was like "oh sh##". Loved the way Johnson stepped up in the pocket, threw the pass over the middle and Badet went up and made the very athletic, great catch. Petrino for the first time looked scared and I loved it. Badet committed with Jo Jo, was in the same recruiting class as James Quick and it was great to see him make that play and for Johnson to make that pass.

The entire game! The team came out with the attitude that they were going to win the game no matter what and kept their confidence.

When the clock struck "0" on Louisville! I've seen too many ways that Kentucky has lost...so that was it for me...then I started humming "Ding Dong The Witch Is DEAD"

Without a doubt it was Johnson to Badet. At that moment you knew we were going to score. When that pass was completed I let out a yell of "yessssssssssssss" that shook the foundation of my house. What a ballsy play call and all 11 men on that field executed their assignment to perfection

There are so many plays from this game that you could pick from. From start to finish there we're big play after big play. The east and most obvious would be the fumble and the field goal. Then you have the other turnovers, Love's big hit, Bakers highlight reel TD, Badets catch to set-up the field goal and Johnson's oops scramble.

But for me it's simple I would have to go with the Johnson to Johnson 75 yard TD. Without this play happening we all could be looking at a completely different outcome. UL came out guns blazing and scored with ease. They took all of the momentum.

To me that one play changed the whole complexity of the game. That play didn't just give our team momentum it have them confidence and a certain swagger. It proved to them that could that not only could they play with the university of Lamar but they could beat them. I think it not only have Johnson more confidence in his self and his throwing ability but also his wife receivers. I believe it helped the receivers bounce back from a frustrating season. It appeared that after the play the coaches finally trusted and believed in Johnson and the WR's and it changed the way Gran called the plays. Our passing attack was way more dynamic than anticipated.

The defense was also effected in my opinion. An enormous amount of pressure was removed from their shoulders. They were off the hook for letting UofL score so easily. Hell at least it took more than one play. It showed them they weren't in it alone that the offense was there to play. It gave them the ability to play more relaxed knowing that they didn't have the nearly impossible task of completely shutting Lamar down to win.

Now for the number one reason I pick this play from the beginning of the game is. Has Johnson dropped the pass or the other Johnson get sacked. We may not have been able to recover and score. Which would have been a here we go again that's so Kentucky football right there. Everything mentioned above from the play calling to the confidence and swagger they played with and most importantly possibly the final score could have been different.
