It looks like he's paid pretty well at VT, and he's got the Hokies in good shape. Is he going to make that much more money at A&M? Maybe he has ties to A&M.

He’s from Texas and was an assistant under Gillespie there. A&M has really nice facilities and Texas is a good recruiting area. Plus, he doesn’t have to deal with Duke, UNCheat and UVA in the SEC.
A and M is a step up for him IMO. And College Station is a nice place to live, I visit there often.
Oh, missed yours, Hart. That makes a big difference. I don't really like Buzz, so I don't mind him leaving, but he is a good coach, and he's helped our conference.

He’s really gotten VT cleaned up the last 3 or 4 years. I’d say it’s a deserving offer. After all, he had to clean up Seth Greenburg’s mess.
Seems pretty logical. I hate losing great coaches from the ACC, but long-term I think the A&M job is probably better for him.

Listening to SiriusXM this am, they said it’s a done deal. Even said the dude had a Texas state flag in his front yard, vtech headed back to mediocrity unless they hit a home run hire.
Man I sure hope not, Wojos name did get mentioned with Bennett’s for people UCLA wants to talk to. I really don’t see Bennett’s leaving though

If Tech holds on to Whit Babcock, Tech is the better spot long term, but for Buzz, family is family. He’s gone. Announces tomorrow or Monday. VT is going to lose 2-3 recruits because of this and maybe Blackshear depending on who comes in. It’s going to be more of a rebuild than I had hoped.
Cronin is #1 (yuck) and Wojo is 1A. I’ve heard Gregg Marshall as well. Those are Babcock’s 3 favs at the moment and he’s looking to hire by Wednesday.
Great, Blackshear will probably transfer to Carolina and be eligible right away.

For your sake I hope they don’t go after Cronin. The guy can’t get out of the first weekend to save his life. Greg Marshall will bring his crazy wife, so that’s not good. Wojo is probably a good choice.
