Where do you go, what do you do?

The team has quit!
The fans are done!

Is it possible to just forfeit the next two games and start over from scratch? As far as I can see, the team wont care and the fans would rejoice.

Last week was the last game I would watch this year. I followed the game slightly on ESPN tracker and have read some game threads. The shark has been jumped.

I'd be in favor of a self-imposed death penalty for the program. Fire all of the coaches, get rid of all of the players, and then start from scratch. This program is dead already, what would it hurt?

We've got a LOT of good young players who haven't been put in a spot to be successful. Lindsey, Spielman, Stoll, Farniok. Jaimes, Wilson, POB, Bradley, our young D linemen etc. We had plenty of talent to win 7-8 games this year IF we had coached better especially on D. You put a good DC and an average OC with this team and we would be competitive. Hell bring Beck or Barney or you name it back as head coach with a good DC and we would have won 8 this year.

That's true. Unfortunately (fortunately?) I didn't get to watch the game, I had to follow the gamecast and message board threads to get updates. Just looking at the stat sheet you could tell that Spielman showed up to play.

Aside from Spielman and maybe a couple of others, bench the whole team?

The ENTIRE Offensive line is truly OFFENSIVE!

Take away every single Blackshirt and start the #2 and #3 guys because they can’t play any worse than the starters.

Is it possible to take away scholarships from these two groups because they truly play with zero effort. Even I (not even close to being in the prime of my life) could play with more heart and hustle than those guys.

I hate busting on our players but this is worse than the effort of the 2007 team. Didn’t think it was possible.

I some what disagree yes the defense lack talent but you get a new coach who put the players in position to win and I mean win each down the right position correct technique and play hard every down till the final whistle sounds

I know you are but what am i lol beat it hawkeye go root your team on to get a first down against wisconsin.. theyve won the turnover battle 3-0 and are still down 3 at half.. bout to be more..

Ive seen my team win 3 national championships in my lifetime.... im good with a few down years..no i wouldnt trade the last 40 for your last 40... you still havent won a thing.. see the thing is you might have a better product right now but you will never be at the top... just the way it is
