Stomach bug a few months ago got me thinking. Which is the best flavor of Gatorade? I've grown fonder over Red than my childhood go-to, Yellow. Regular or G2.

Powerade has it's time and place, but this is about Gatorade.

Tough call between Glacier Freeze Blue & Fierce Grape. Right now I have grape but these are my go to.

I like them all but grape is probably my favorite.

Other than water, most all I've had to drink for about the past year is hot tea, hot coffee, and almond milk. Nowadays they're waaaaay easier on my stomach than anything else.

I’ve always liked the original lemon-lime. This has been my favorite.

My current go-to drink to take when I hike or kayak is the lemon-lime G2. Girlfriend asks me to keep stocked up on G2 because of the lower sugar and low calorie. I’ll occasionally settle for red or purple in G2.

This one was a deep cut but it was by far the best they ever made. Now I stick to the low/zero sugar Gatorades.

PepsiCo having a helluva time keeping Gatorade in production right now. My rep told me it was they couldn't source the orange caps, but i'm skeptical on that excuse. It's hit or miss in retail but wholesale distribution almost non existent at the moment.

Lot of our accounts are switching over to Powerade because Coke seems to have their **** together, at least moreso than PepsiCo.

As someone who drinks gaterade or Powerade about once every 3 years I struggled between orange and red. I used to love orange as a kid but I think I prefer red now, though now I’m not sure if it was the citrus cooler I actually liked as a kid. Some real deep, life reflecting thoughts this topic conjured.

I like Gatorade to change the pace when avoiding soda. Tea and water cycle last only so long.

Orange is my go to every time I get a stomach bug. It's pretty easy to purge as well once you get to the point of dry heaving. It saves me. LOL

Red is my daily go to. Lemon lime if I am sick but like someone said earlier, pedialyte is the best when sick.

Also the powerade popsicles are damn good after a day of yard work in the hot sun.

I like citrus cooler the best but it’s a well-documented, scientific fact that funkycat’s interwebz polls are always severely flawed so I’m not surprised by its absence.

Given the limitations set forth above, I would have to go with...

1) Fierce grape
2) Orange
3) OG Lemon Lime

Protip, and I wish I was making this up. But I literally just shat what appeared to be blood from my own colon..

turns out Sugar-free Watermelon Berry Gatorade goes HARD on the insides. I was about to hotline a doctor but I saw these reviews on Amazon.

I don't know if this is some Halloween prank but the amount of red dye in here will not only give you explosive diarrhea but make you think you have internal cancer and are dying at the same time. Not to mention the dye really shine bright in your mouth, tounge, and organs on a sunny day. Stick to a different flavor in short.

Can confirm. 3am diarrhea with a terrifying red color. Ten minutes or terror/debating whether to go to the hospital before remembering I tried on of these around 9pm. Then I found these reviews and felt a bit better, but... wow.
