What's the consensus on Robinson & Butler?

The impact of an injury to a team is complicated. It’s often confusing or out right contradictory.
It ALL depends on whether the injured players will DEFINITELY return or not. Then, it boils down to how close they can come back to being at least 90%.

The "confusion, contradiction and complication" comes when the above is NOT conveyed correctly.

What exactly is wrong with JRobs wrist? He sure moves his hand easily when celebrating from the bench. I thought at fitmrst it was just a pain tolerance thing. Sprained? I mean this seems like a long time for a sprain.

How is it pessimistic to say Kentucky needs 2 all SEC caliber guards back, and that they can’t survive any longer without them
pessimistic (adjective)

1. tending to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen:

Failure to survive seems like "the worst will happen." I appreciate you don't mean they will really die. But "can't survive" would seem to imply the season is about to be over. That's...pessimmistic. Nothing hard about that.

You think the worst case is coming without those guys. Expecting the worst case=pessimism. You're trying to argue over definitions, and you're wrong.

And you’re trying to be politically correct and over analyzing the situation and statement.

No. Not at all. There's nothing PC to consider. It's a definition. You made a pessimistic statement. You're trying to say it's not one. You're just wrong.

Politically correct usually implies saying something in a way such as to not offend someone. I'm not at all afraid to offend you. I think you have a poor understanding of the word pessimistic. There's nothing PC about that.

Maybe you ALSO have a bad understanding of "politically correct."

We need them to play. We can get by without them and have. But we need them.

I have no idea what’s wrong with Butler. Seems more serious than we know.

Robinson I can’t understand at all not being out there. He would spread the floor being out there.

Just tell him to not shoot if his wrist is sore. The other team won’t know if he’s going to shoot or not. They will guard him.

I didn't see the splint on Jaxs hand last game unless I'm blind...I'll take what I can get

They said both guys went through light warmups last game. Shocked if Butler isn't back for Oklahoma and both play against Missouri.
