Don’t say stupid things about the player or coach and I won’t say “stupid things” back. We all get frustrated about the game. I was just as frustrated as anyone. I want to win as much as I want to breathe but the player bashing and coach bashing less than ten games in is inexcusable regardless of the score
It can yes. Best bet is to not respond or pay attention to the guys throwing temper tantrums. They’re really a vocal minority and they like to stir up trouble

You need to lighten up a bit. People who lose their **** are more likely fans than those who stay perfectly calm. The word 'fan' is short for 'fanatic' for a reason. Yes some people pulled the trigger on their emotions too early last night. I was one of them. But that makes them no less a fan. You're arguing a straw man. You accusing people of being fake fans for getting upset is just as irrational as blasting the team in the first half.
I don’t see going off on the people who berate the team as the same as going off on the players and coaches, as a fan. Agree to disagree. Fans are going to fan but burying the coach ten games in with a portal squad by halftime against a top ten team without your starting PG is bush league.
My Dad did the same thing. He was loving the Rupp Years so much that UK could have hired Fog Allen to replace Rupp and he would have hated it.
If you're talking about in-game thread, you'll always get snapshots of people complaining (myself included). It's normal.

Exactly. People who complain that fans are too critical of players act like those fans are going up to these players personally and telling them they suck, threatening in person, or whatever the case may be. There is nothing wrong with calling out a player/players on a message board for ****** play. Or even the coach. Missed shots in the flow of the offense and things like that don’t upset me and cause me to lash out TOWARDS players, it’s lack of effort, hustle that causes the frustration. I would say that’s how most fans are. All fan bases have fans that are critical of their team, that’s called being a die hard fan. The difference with Kentucky and other programs is the sheer number of Die hard fans. That’s why we get a bad name
