In the IHSA football championship series is it not spelled out on how seeding works and how host teams are determined?Yes....no...?

As a program, Benet typically struggles with speed. IMO, this is a bad matchup for Benet.

Don't underestimate Benet. Their QB is a lot better than the Willowbrook kid that was gashing ESL in the second half yesterday.
Benet's defense is laying the wood to people. Have not given up a defensive touchdown in seven quarters. TKO'd Normal's QB and shut down a good RM QB last night.

They will be well coached, disciplined, and not be at a size disadvantage.

Unless there is a large number of member schools complaining about the current playoff system and it's rules,I think the IHSA will probably let things be.

They may not like it, but TS. Win more before the playoffs, like they did in 2014, and solve that problem.

I hear you. It's hard to practice for speed. East Side is quick on offense and defense. I know they won't look past them. This is a business trip. One mission. One game away from making it happen

That is pretty much the point I have been trying to make the whole time as to why home field advantage doesn't matter.

Gotta disagree..teams get great energy from their home crowds..Seriously, the two 12-0 teams in 8A are both on the road for the semifinals and that doesn't seem right.

Could be very bad. The 10 sacks Marist generated on Benet in the regular season could be exceeded by ESL i fear. I think the Line play is the Achilles heel that will get targeted by ESL.
