What's Up With Cohen and Congress?

I have never seen any Congressional hearing ever like this one.

Watching the Michael Cohen hearing in the US House not once did the Republicans defend any of the charges made against Trump all they kept repeating one after another was what a liar Michael Cohen was. The GOP attacked Cohen but were completely silent in defending their president against the several serious charges made against him.

It made me thing Hmmm?.

Cohen is a convicted perjurer. What else do you need to know?

Their defense is he is a self-acknowledged and proven liar. I'm shocked that when he was sworn in at the hearing that he even confirmed his name is Michael Cohen. Good luck to him with his upcoming prison stint.

If Meadows and Jordan have their way, he may face further perjury charges after his testimony.

This!! I just saw a report; Ocasio-Cortez (D/NY) WARNS THAT MODERATE DEMS WHO VOTE WITH REPUBLICANS ARE BEING PUT ON “LIST”. If this factual, Ocasio-Cortez is basically threatening members of Congress the way I look at it. What has happened that has caused such hatred among the two parties? How can Congress sit back and not address this ****? Unbelievable. It was on the Fox channel so it will interesting to see other coverage. Fake News? Probably not. She is such a stupid person.....I’m being nice as I bite my lip typing this.

Pelosi was part of this as well. But it's no surprise that this is how things are done in Congress. The needs of the constituents that elect the members don't matter. When they get to Washington, they all have to toe the party line, or they will get zero support when their bid for reelection comes up.

You are right, Billy. Things like this make me feel fortunate that l’m old. I would not be too optimistic if I were a decade or so younger.
