He also weighed 300 pounds at the time of his death. I chewed Day's Work when I was a young man. My wife made me quit that.

I was just tying in Tony to the tobacco thread.

James was a heart attack poster child. He was a helluva an actor though. One of the all time greats.

I quit 4 years ago and still miss it.

It doesn't help when an office setting promotes the habit.

There is nothing better than drinking a beer and putting in a chew to spit in the bottle.

But when you 8 year old daughter tells you she doesn't want you to die from cancer from dipping it hits home. I quite the next day cold turkey.

7 a can? Was 15 cents a can when I started. I'd say that's reason enough to quit.

That was my go to in HS. Started out with Hawken. Tried skoal and hated it. Gold River was good. Loved Levi.

It was a different time. We actually were able to chew during HS baseball games back then, as long as we were discreet.

Quit during senior year when my girlfriend gave me an ultimatum: chew and fly solo or quit and get some loving. Easy choice.
